What is Brainwave Entrainment?

Entrainment is actually a physics term that coined by Christian Huygens in 1665 to describe the phenomena of separate cyclical energies recalibrating to fall into rhythm with one another. Christian observed that when two different bodies that If a tuning fork which vibrate at different rates are brought together, produces a frequency of 350 they would tend to lock into phase and vibrate Hz is struck and then in harmony. brought into the vicinity of another 350 Hz tuning fork, After extensive research and experiments, the second fork will begin to scientists and neurologists have found that vibrate as well. Here, the this same phenomenon could also be applied first fork is said to have in training the brain. entrained the second fork. When a stimulus is introduced to the brain, whether through the ears, eyes or other senses, the brain responds by emitting an electrical charge, known as Cortical Evoked Response. This electrical responses travel throughout the brain to become what an individual sees and hears. When the stimulus presented to the brain is a rhythmic stimulus, e.g. drum beats, the rhythm is reproduced in the brain in the form of these electrical impulses. When the rhythm becomes fast and consistent enough, the electrical impulses within the brain start to synchronize with the rhythm. This is called the Frequency Following Response (FFR). The brain has become entrained to the frequency and rhythm of the stimulus.

The strength of this cortical evoked response depends on the type and effectiveness of the stimulus, which is very important in gaining a significant result particular for the purpose of entraining the brain.

Understanding Brainwaves
Brainwave patterns The brain is made up of approximately 100 billion nerve cells called neurons which communicate with each other twenty-four hours a day using electrical signals. The combination of millions of these neurons sending electrical signals at once produces an enormous of electrical activity in the brain and these electrical discharges can be detected by using EEG technology. EEG records this electrical activity as Brain Wave Patterns - because of its wave and cycliclike nature.

www.InfiniteMinds.info

Page 6

A Complete Guide to Brainwave Entrainment Importantly these Brain Wave Patterns are not random; they are in fact closely correlated with your emotions, your thoughts, your state of being, and the many functions of the various systems of your body. In short, the entire quality of your life has something to do with these patterns. This also means that what you do to yourself can influence your brain wave patterns. Its like a meter that displays the state of your consciousness.

Brainwave Frequencies There are 5 standard groupings of brainwaves, each of which corresponds to a different set of emotional and psychological properties and represents a different type experience the person displaying them is having. These 5 groups are named after 5 letters of the Greek alphabet: Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. Brainwaves are measured in Hertz (Hz). 1 Hz means one complete cycle in 1 second i.e. on an EEG you would see a wave with one peak and one trough. Each image below depicts a one second snapshot of human brainwave activity, as detected by an EEG.

Delta Waves:

Delta waves are often associated with being fast sleep, hyper-relaxed or in a deep meditation. Delta waves are also the dominant brainwave in babies up to about 1 year. Certain frequencies, in the delta range, have been shown to trigger the body's healing and growth mechanisms.

Theta Waves:

Theta waves indicate a normal or light sleep, drowsiness or daydreaming, and creative and imaginative thinking that is led by the subconscious i.e. when ideas suddenly just come to you. This suggests that Theta waves allow for easier communication between the conscious and subconscious minds. Theta waves have also been identified as key in learning, memory and reduction of stress. This is the standard frequency range for children up to their early teenage years.

Alpha Waves:

Alpha rates are increased by closing the eyes and relaxing, and can be reduced by opening one's eyes or any concentrated effort. They are associated with a fully awake and conscious but relaxed state of mind. When you get back in from school or work, sit down and put on the TV your brainwaves will be in the alpha range. This is the typical relaxation range for anyone over the age of about 13.

Page 8

Beta Waves:

Beta waves are characteristic of an engaged mind, which is alert and well focused. These are the dominant waves most of us will experience during the day. They are produced when our attention is directed to the outside world. They are also used in complex problem solving, having conversations, any form of active exercise (using motor skills) and in learning new information and skills. Towards the upper end of the Beta range can indicate stressed or anxious thoughts.

Gamma Waves:

Gamma waves are found when carrying out very complex motor processes. When people describe themselves as being in the zone, highly alert and focused, these are Gamma wave traits. They can also be associated with very anxious or panic attack type behaviour. Gamma waves are important in harmonizing and bringing together thoughts being processed in different parts of the brain. They are also produced during hypnotic states.

Between 0.5 and 90Hz are the states and frequencies that comprise the vast majority of our day to day experiences. In the table on the following two pages these core frequencies are broken down further and in addition there are some frequencies outside of this range that correspond to some more rare and unusual states of consciousness.

Brainwave Synchronisation Your brain is divided into two sides or hemispheres which are slightly different from each other. So when you measure the brain waves generated by both sides of your brain, youll find that most peoples brainwaves are slightly outof-phase during normal waking consciousness. The process of bringing the brain waves of both sides of your brain together is called Brainwave Synchronization. In the 1970s and early '80s, a series of studies and brain wave experiments showed that successful people, regardless of their areas of expertise, such as businessmen, musicians, artists, sportsmen, martial arts experts, advanced meditators, yogis, spiritual teachers, etc., all had a high degree of brainwave synchronization. In other words, both hemispheres of their brains were working in harmony with each other, resulting in one synchronized brain wave pattern in phase (or almost in phase) with each half of the brain. During moments of deep thought or creativity, their brain waves would slow down from beta to alpha and even theta. Both sides of their brains ordinarily out of phase would start working together in a balanced, synchronized manner.

The Science & History of Brainwave Entrainment

Brainwave entrainment has been noted or used in one form or another for centuries, Shamanistic societies use of drum beats is actually a form of brainwave entrainment as are ritual drumming and rhythmic prayer found in cultures throughout the world and are often used in religious ceremonies to induce trance states. In 200 A.D. Ptolemy noted the psychology effects of flickering sunlight generated by a spinning wheel. The first recorded entrainment phenomenon was noted by the Dutch scientist, Christian Huygens, in 1665. He observed that a number of pendulum driven

clocks in a room fell into synchronization with each other over time. However it wasnt until the early 1900s when Hans Berger did the first systematic study of the electrical activities in the human brain that the stage was set for our modern understanding of brainwave entrainment to start to develop.

History's first brainwave recording, obtained by Hans Berger in 1924. In 1929 just 5 years after the first brainwave recording, Hans Berger discovered the alpha waves. Not long after this, researchers noted that flickering lights can alter brainwave patterns. This is called photic stimulation. In the 1930s and '40s, with then-new EEG equipment and strobe lights, W. Gray Walter performed some of the first scientific research on the subject. In 1959, Chatrian observed that sound stimulation can lead to brainwave synchronization (auditory entrainment). By the 1960s, scientists were experimenting with brainwave entrainment as a tool for use in various medical procedures and treatments. M.S. Sadove, an anaesthesiologist, used photic stimulation to reduce the use of anaesthesia in surgery. In 1968, Joe Kamiya published an article in Psychology Today on neurofeedback (biofeedback). He noted that EEG frequency states correspond to psychological states, and thus was the first person to introduce the idea that people can be trained to voluntarily control their brainwaves. Also in the 1960s and '70s, interest in altered states led many artists to become interested in the subject, most notably Brion Gysin who, along with a Cambridge math student, invented the Dreammachine. From the 1970s to date there have been numerous studies and various machines built that combine light and sound. These efforts were aided by continued development of micro circuitry and other electronic breakthroughs allowed for ever more sophisticated equipment for measuring and inducing brainwave entrainment.

Page 13

A Complete Guide to Brainwave Entrainment

Two of the most important breakthroughs were the discovery of binaural beats, first published in Scientific American in 1973 by Gerald Oster and the development of Isochronic tones by Arturo Manns. Combined with more sophisticated equipment, these discoveries led to many attempts to use brainwave entrainment in the treatment of numerous psychological and physiological conditions. We will have a closer look at these types of entrainment methods later. Other researchers such as Dr. Norman Shealy, Dr. Glen Solomon and others experimented on brainwave entrainment for headache relief, serotonin and HGH release and general relaxation, and in 1981, Michael Hutchison wrote MegaBrain, outlining the many possible uses of brainwave entrainment from meditation to superlearning. Harold Russel (Ph.D.) and John Carter (Ph.D.) of the University of Houston used brainwave entrainment to treat Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and other learning disorders, testing IQ before and after treatment. They noted that their subjects showed a consistent 5 to 7 point increase in their IQ score.

What is Brainwave Entrainment Good For?

There are simply too many uses and potential applications of brainwave entrainment to explain them all here, that would take a book by itself! Also there are many anecdotal claims that are difficult to verify as the perceptions of what is being experienced will always vary between one individual and another in any subjective experience. However there are a few key areas it is important to highlight. Stimulation of production of beneficial hormones Activation of Whole Brain Functioning Increase in learning potential Reduction in anxiety and stress Access to the subconscious mind

Page 14

A Complete Guide to Brainwave Entrainment Experiences of increased energy and motivation Entry into deep meditative states Overcoming Addictions These are all effects that are reported by the vast majority of people regularly using brainwave entrainment, have been well documented and confirmed under strict scientific conditions. These man benefits to brainwave entrainment are discussed in more detail in the following pages.

Vital Hormones Production in Slow Brain Waves States Numerous experiments have been conducted to study the correlation between slow brain waves patterns and the production of body vital hormones: melatonin, dopamine, DHEA and cortisol. The findings show that the amount of melatonin and DHEA is significant boosted in the brain during alpha and theta states. In certain cases, it was reported that the DHEA level could increase by at least 50% while melatonin a tremendous 300%, with an average increase of 100%. On the other hand, the production of cortisol (a stress hormone normally produced in high-beta brain waves), declined by nearly 50%! By using specific frequencies an individual can stimulate certain glands to produce desired hormones. Beta-endorphin has been modulated in studies using alpha-theta brain wave training, as has dopamine with binaural beats Why are these hormones important to you? Melatonin Melatonin is the hormone that helps you to create restful sleep and restoring your physical energy during sleeping. When you are in deep sleep, the brain will produce numerous rejuvenating substances and perform self-healing. However, due to the aging process, we make less melatonin and thus, the inability to sleep soundly can dramatically decrease the quality of our life and greatly accelerate the aging process. New research has even revealed that melatonin is a powerful antioxidant.

Page 15

A Complete Guide to Brainwave Entrainment DHEA DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone) is a steroid hormone, a chemical cousin of testosterone and estrogen which is produced by the adrenal glands. DHEA is a precursor or the source ingredient for virtually every hormone that your body needs. News reports have even referred to DHEA as a superhormone. When DHEA levels are low in your body, you are more susceptible to aging and disease; and when theyre high, the body is at its peak vibrant, healthy and able to combat disease effectively. It also acts as a buffer hormone to stress related hormones such as the cortisol. The total quality of your life is influenced by DHEA and again, DHEA declines as you age. Cortisol Cortisol is yet another vital hormone that is secreted by the adrenal glands. This hormone involves in the functions of proper glucose maintenance, inflammatory response, blood pressure regulation, insulin release for blood sugar maintenance and etc. However, higher and more prolonged levels of cortisol in the bloodstream could lead to negative effects such as chronic stress, impaired cognitive performance, increased of abdominal fat and etc. In fact, cortisol has even been termed as the stress hormone. For that reason, it is very important for the system to activate the bodys relaxation response so that the body could return back to normal following a stressful event. DHEA is one of the hormones that act as a buffer to cortisol. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that has many functions in the brain, including important roles in behaviour and cognition, voluntary movement, motivation and reward, sleep, mood, attention, and learning. Dopamine production is heavily associated with reward and the learning of new behaviour. In nature, we learn to repeat behaviours that lead to maximize rewards. Dopamine is therefore believed to provide a teaching signal to parts of the brain responsible for acquiring new behaviour. It is also commonly associated with the pleasure system of the brain, providing feelings of enjoyment and reinforcement to motivate a person proactively to perform certain activities. Dopamine is released by naturally rewarding experiences such as food, sex, drugs, and neutral stimuli that become associated with them.

Whole Brain Functioning Whole brain functioning is a studied phenomena where the left and right hemispheres of the brain think "co-operatively" instead of combatively. You've heard of people being "left brain" or "right brain" dominant, right? Left brain thinkers tend to be more logical, rational thinkers. They're objective, mathematical, calculated. Right brain thinkers are more artistic, subjective, intuitive and creative. The problem with being single-hemisphere dominant can be the internal conflict that occurs when, in life, a situation arises that requires strengths from both hemispheres. When the 2 hemispheres of your brain begin to work in unison, giving you access to far greater understanding and problem solving capacities. This includes such things as increased learning ability, creativity, intuition, mental clarity, and intelligence, plus an increase in latent abilities we all have but usually do not exhibit because we use such a small portion of our brains. Leonardo Da Vinci is an excellent example of someone who developed the ability to use whole brain functioning

Increased Learning Potential It was proposed in the 1970s that induced alpha brain waves enabled students to assimilate more information with greater long term retention. In more recent times has come more understanding of the role of theta brain waves in behavioural learning. The presence of theta patterns in the brain has been associated with increased receptivity for learning and decreased filtering by the left hemisphere. In a 1999 study, Thomas Budzynski, worked with 8 struggling college students. After undergoing audio-visual brainwave stimulation, the students outperformed a control group and significantly increased their GPA. In a

www.InfiniteMinds.info

Page 17

A Complete Guide to Brainwave Entrainment separate study, Psychologist Michael Joyce used brainwave entrainment with a group of 30 children. After a short period of treatment, he observed improvements in reading and a half year advancement in grade level. Harold Russel and John Carter, of the University of Houston, used brainwave entrainment to treat ADD and other learning disorders, testing IQ before and after treatment. Astonishingly, after treatment the subjects showed a consistent 5 to 7 point increase in IQ score!

Reduced Anxiety and Stress An uncontrolled pilot study of Delta binaural beat technology over 60 days has shown positive effect on self-reported psychological measures, especially anxiety. There was significant decrease in trait anxiety, and an increase in quality of life. A randomised, controlled study concluded that binaural beat audio could lessen hospital acute pre-operative anxiety. Nothing worth having is ever easy. Everyone faces problems. The difference is, how you handle those problems. Imagine if you never even see them as problems to begin with... if it's just easy, somehow, to envisage simple solutions to hurdles and enjoy the challenge. Successful people thrive on challenges... you could begin to experience the very same rush!

Tap into your subconscious Tap into your subconscious to boost your creativity and enhance your intuition. Besides, your subconscious is the path that connects you to the infinite intelligence. By building the bridge between the conscious and subconscious parts of your mind you will sharpen your intuition and perceive things that others fail to see. Your gut feeling will always lead you to take the right action and do the things that you have never considered before. Imagine, just knowing what you needed to do and having the focus, clarity and dedication to just get out there and do it. Ambitions on the back burner start to come alive... business ideas take off... the right people suddenly appear at the right time.

Extra Energy and more motivation Imagine sleeping less than the averages and yet waking up each morning feeling energetic and full of enthusiasm. Do you want to reduce your sleeping time by literally four hours and still maintaining full alertness the next day? In a lot of cases, the lack of energy we experience from time to time can be attributed to solely psychological reasons. We also often mistake a feeling of no energy with boredom. When you are bored, it is usually because you are dwelling in low frequency mental states. An entrainment frequency designed to increase your brainwave frequency can give you a sense of mental arousal and excitement, making you feel more energetic.

Entry into Deep Meditative States Currently one of the primary uses of brainwave entrainment technology is to get the experience of deep meditations without having to train for years. By entraining the brain into progressively slower frequencies, people can experience these deep levels of meditation in a fraction of the time that they would be able to achieve them by mediation alone. When people start learning meditation by traditional route they often find they fall asleep as a result of being in these much more relaxed states for lengthy periods of time. With entrainment the frequency following response is used to get you to the desired state much faster and as the brain adapts allowing you to remain conscious at a more relaxed, slower frequency the frequency can be slowed again allowing you to move deeper.

Overcoming Addictions Alpha-theta brainwave training has also been used successfully for the treatment of addictions. Your brain is pretty stubborn. It is very difficult to

www.InfiniteMinds.info

Page 19

A Complete Guide to Brainwave Entrainment change your behaviours without first changing how things are wired inside your brain. There are many research studies that support alpha/theta brainwave training with alcoholism. In 1989 Eugene Penniston and Paul Kulkosky conducted research studies with people using brainwave entrainment to tackle alcohol addictions. They found significant decreases in their depression, cravings for alcohol and relapses.

Additional Experiences Here are some additional experiences and effects of brainwave entrainment that are widely reported: - Alpha-theta brainwave training has also been used for the recovery of repressed memories. - Many people report themselves experiencing a level of happiness and euphoria without the use of harmful and addictive drugs. Your brain could naturally produce the same kind of substance that creates the same kind of feelings. - Stop your bad habits such as smoking and taking caffeinated drinks. Allows you to releasing those emotional pains that get trapped in your brain before you can successfully drop the habits. - Access advanced states and unlock latent abilities such as lucid dreaming.

Methods of Brainwave Entrainment

There are three main methods currently used for brainwave entrainment; Binaural Betas, Monaural Beats and Isochronic Tones. Binaural Beats

Two waveforms combine to produce the binaural beats In 1973, Dr. Gerald Oster of Mount Sinai Medical Center published a report in the Scientific American called Auditory Beats in the Brain. In it, he explained that when tones of different frequencies were presented separately to each ear, pulsations called binaural beats occurred in the brain, which resulted in the whole brain becoming entrained to the internal beat and resonating to that frequency. The application of the binaural brainwave entrainment process is quite simple. You hear two pure tones in each ear. Let's say 400 Hertz and 410 Hertz. Each ear hears a singular tone. Your brain detects the difference between these two frequencies - and 'produces' a 3rd tone of 10 Hertz inside the brain.

How binaural beats generates a single frequency in the brain

www.InfiniteMinds.info

Page 21

A Complete Guide to Brainwave Entrainment

Even though you perceive this 10 Hz sound, the third tone is not an actual sound at all; rather, it is an electrical signal that is created as your brain processes each tone from the left and right ear separately. As the brain continually processes this 3rd ghost signal, it begins to emulate (or entrain) to that 10 Hz stimulus. This phantom 10 Hz signal is created by both sides of the brain working in unison. This dual processing can lead to a state called hemispheric synchronization, or whole brain sync. This high function brain state occurs when both sides of the brain are functioning in tandem. This is especially useful for entraining the brain to frequencies that are below the threshold of human hearing as entrainment at these levels cannot be produced by Isochronic or Monaural beats.

Isochronic Tones (Also referred to as Pulsed or Rhythmic tones)

Isochronic tones played out of each speaker are identically spaced Isochronic tones, also referred to as Rhythmic Entrainment uses audio entrainment pulses to entrain the brain; a single tone that is cycled on and off to produce the beat. The main advantage of using Isochronic tones over Binaural beats is that they do not require stereo headphones for effective entrainment. It has also been claimed that the brain adapts to, and as a result filters out binaural beats with prolonged use, and although there is some research that supports this hypothesis, there is still conflicting evidence over this claim.

www.InfiniteMinds.info

Page 22

A Complete Guide to Brainwave Entrainment Monaural beats

Monaural beats waveform Monaural beats play both tones in each channel, so the interference pattern that produces the entrainment beat is present outside your head and again does not need headphones to be heard. Combination Methods 3-Point Dynamic Entrainment Audio Process The 3-Point Dynamic Entrainment Audio Process, combines both Binaural Beats and Isochronic tones with temporal brainwave entrainment. By matching all 3 approaches to the same frequency this allows the brain multiple paths on which it can entrain all of which are directed towards the same state, this increases the effectiveness of the entrainment process. The three audio entrainment technologies utilized within the 3.d.e.a.p system compliment each other due to their effectiveness and unique benefits. When combined, these three technologies form an exacting design process that fine tunes every millisecond of audio to facilitate easy and successful brainwave entrainment. Temporal Brainwave Entrainment: This entrainment method relates to the distinction of timing. Brainwaves are never static. They speed up and slow down. To make the best use of the first two entrainment methods, we use the brains distinction of time and speed to direct it towards the varying entrainment rates that ebb and flow. Several segments of audio are copied, stretched or compressed, then layered and superimposed to create shifts in the time and tonality of audio effects.

www.InfiniteMinds.info

Page 23

A Complete Guide to Brainwave Entrainment

Temporal entrainment by stretching a segment of audio This audio augmentation occurs at very specific points along the entrainment sequence, allowing your brain to match the overall entrainment rates with ease. Temporal entrainment also assists the brain and rhythms of the body (such as breathing and heart rate) to speed up or slow down in unison with the system as a whole. A good way to think of this effect is playing a record at half speed. The sound from the record is not only slower, but also lower in tone. Your brain picks up on these subtle cues to raise brainwave rates or slow them down accordingly. This means that when a binaural frequency moves from 15 Hz to 10 Hz, there will be a rhythmic entrainment track that matches that change, slowing in unison. Furthermore, the temporal entrainment tracks follow each binaural change by elongating and lowing audio tone to match the slope of the diminishing entrainment rates.

Spoken words It is worth noting that entrainment methods are sometimes combined with hypnotic or suggestible language such as in NeuroLinguistic Programming which aid in developing new behaviours and breaking habits. While these are not entrainment methods in themselves, they are often brought together as the entrainment methods provide an ideal mechanism for guiding the brain

Today it is still one of the most comprehensive entrainment packages available, however it is also one of most expensive. Holosync uses a binaural beats entrainment method, combined with spoken words tailored to alter behaviours in the subconscious. You listen to the CD's for an hour everyday. As you progress, you'll be sent a new series of CD's, each one taking you to a deeper level of brain activity. Although they offer a free trial CD at their website, this CD is in practice more of an extended advertisement for their product than an actual trial of the program. The introductory level cost $179 and does come with a lot of bonus material: - Quietude: Alpha Wave creating soundtrack - Oasis: Generates theta level brainwaves - Super Longevity: 2 tracks designed to stimulate production of beneficial hormones - A multimedia online course master your emotions, your actions and your life - Support from their coaching staff The problem is if you stick with the program, a couple of months down the line youll be ready to order the next level , and then the one after that, which quickly builds up to a total cost of over $1800 for the entire program.

The following graph shows a simplified "Entrainment Map" for the entire six-level Brain Evolution System:

Entrainment Map showing 6 Levels of the Brain Evolution System As you can see, the entrainment frequencies shift and move quite variably throughout the program. You can also see that several layers of entrainment are applied (indicated by the blue arcs and horizontal lines above), to help attract the multiple frequencies of the brain itself. QMP uses a combination of Isochronic and Monaural tones. These methods are more effective for brain wave entrainment than programmes which use only binaural beats. You can compare the Isochronic and Monaural tone wave patterns to see that the peaks and valleys are far more distinct, hence far more effective "The Morry Method" uses a proprietary protocol developed for presenting various stimuli to the brain and mind. This allows the Brainwave entrainment to be presented to the brain in conjunction with noise cancelling background sounds and words spoken using hypnotic suggestion simultaneously without losing the benefits of these individual components, The package also comes with the following bonuses: - A recording is designed to help with the inevitable loss of "action" that tends to follow any self help/improvement type of program. - A Whole Brain Gratitude Meditation will help you with direction and intent and change your current view of the world. - A recording is designed to help guide you to balance your emotions and experience happiness. Conclusions & Recommendations

Approximately a third of people notice some of the benefits of brainwave entrainment instantly after the first use; particularly reduced stress, less anxiety & clarity of thinking, and the vast majority of people experience most of these effects within the first week. In order to get the most out of whatever brainwave entrainment program you decide to follow, consistent daily use is best. Almost everyone following this advice reports in addition to the above benefits, an improved awareness and control over their emotions after the first month. Beyond this the benefits Example: and times for when these are To someone who has previously experienced begin to vary more found it very difficult to visualise between users. Which when you think images, even a small increase in this about it makes sense, as ability will seem like a big leap synchronization between the brains forward and be very noticeable hemispheres develops, it is the areas where as that benefit would we are least familiar with using that we will notice most when we see a sudden probably not be picked up by improvement. someone who is already very adept at visualisation. Due to our individual differences it is worth bearing in mind that there is no all purpose one size fits all answer to Which is the best Brainwave Entrainment Program? Rather each program has different strengths and will be suited to different people with different goals and different levels of experience. If you are a professional or experienced user of brainwave entrainment technology, then I would suggest looking at either the Brainwave Generator or NeuroProgrammer 2 (Professional edition). The high degree of customization, available in both these pieces of software and the ability to create your own programs will allow you to target the specific benefits you are looking for.

However these products lack the customer support and structure of some of the other programs so they can be more difficult to pick up or to get past any obstacles you may run into. There is also the potential for a more inexperienced user to feel little benefit or even risk doing themselves harm by creating conflicting sessions. For the vast majority of people and definitely for anyone new to brainwave entrainment there is one product which is really leading the way, this is: The Brain Evolution System. Now its a close call between the Holosync and Brain Evolution Systems on a lot of fronts, both offer a high quality product that have distinct well designed levels that continue to push you forward and develop as you progress. Also both back that up with excellent support and customer services resources. However overall there are a few points which tip the balance in favour of the Brain Evolution System. Personally I think the 3.D.E.A.P entrainment method gives the Brain Evolution System the edge, it seems to give quicker and more effective results. The first reason for this is that brainwaves are dynamic. That means they dont follow a simple linear pattern, but rather are constantly changing; they shift around and move up and down depending on jour environment. Most entrainment programs don't consider this feature and the complexity of how brainwaves work. As a result, they attempt to force the listener down a static, linear route, which can result in stagnation, and less effective entrainment. Secondly, the brain doesnt just operate at one frequency at any given time but actually creates a variety of brainwave frequencies simultaneously. Most entrainment programs, Holosync included attempt to address just the dominant frequency, which again often leads to frustration and poor results, especially in the longer term. The 3.D.E.A.P technology matches this natural processing. It is just as dynamic, its entrainment stimuli moving and shifting just like regular brainwaves, and producing a number of entrainment frequencies at the same time. This means

the brain adapts and follows the entrainment pathways easier, which in turn leads to faster more effective results. This key feature of the Brain Evolution System is even more remarkable when you consider the fact that the Holosync program is over 6 times more expensive! One more feature that really stands out in favour of the Brain Evolution System, is the no questions asked money back guarantee for the entire 7 months, on top of a completely free 21 day trial. In my experience you know a product is good when a company is so confident that it delivers exactly what they say, that they offer that kind of a guarantee. The truth is theres only ever so much you can get from just reading about a subject, and neither should you just take my word for it. Sooner or later you have to give it a go and experience the results for yourself, and I think the Brain Evolution System offer gives you just the opportunity to do that. You can sign up to use the system completely free for 21 days, and if you arent happy with the results youve lost nothing, and youll have gained far more insight and understanding than you can ever get from reading this report or anything else around the subject. If you stick with it and then change your mind months down the line you can still return the product, get all your money back and youve still lost nothing!

I hope youve found this report useful, and are looking forward to getting started experiencing the benefits of brainwave entrainment for yourself.
