Many configurations have been developed and tried and there may be further variations
in the design of a turn-key ozone injection skid but in general the principle is fairly
similar.

It is recommended to plan for the future and always install a larger oxygen concentrator
unit than the immediate demand of the ozone generator equipment. This will allow you to
accommodate a high oxygen demand if you upgrade your system in the future. It is
therefore always better to plan for a larger oxygen concentrator unit than what the
immediate ozone generator input requirement directs.

The modular design is highly recommended for the planning and integration of the ozone
generator meaning that multiple smaller capacity ozone generator units are preferred over
a single larger capacity ozone generator unit.
Installing your ozone generators in multiple unit configurations also provides you with
redundancy so if one unit suffers from mechanical failure the others will continue
running thereby ensuring a constant flow of ozone. You can even install sensors, which
can control the output of the ozone generators in case you would like to have an extra
unit on stand-by.
There are several difference ways that you can inject ozone
into a liquid solution:
When pressurized water enters the injector inlet, it is constricted toward the injection
chamber and changes into a high-velocity jet stream. The increase in velocity through the
injection chamber results in a decrease in pressure, thereby enabling an additive material
to be drawn through the suction port and entrained into the water stream. As the jet
stream is diffused toward the injector outlet, its velocity is reduced and it is reconverted
into pressure energy (but at a pressure lower than injector inlet pressure).
When used in conjunction with the patented Mazzei® Injector, the patented Mass Transfer
Multiplier™ Nozzle dramatically expands your systems contacting ability for dissolving
treatment gases. In addition, the Mass Transfer Multiplier™ Nozzle enhances the
distribution of dissolved gases.
The Result: Multiplication of Mass Transfer of gases into solution and enhanced water
basin contents mixing.

The flash reactor can also be used with a venturi injector as it is capable of diffusing the
ozone gas into much smaller bubbles therefore cumulatively increasing the contact area
of ozone to the water or other liquid medium where ozone is to be injected.
