or us at Central Airconditioning Trading & Services (CAT), already a major player
in supplying and servicing HVAC products and systems, this presented an opportunity to enter
the manufacturing sector.
We responded with a modern manufacturing facility in the Salwa Industrial Area, Doha
our HVAC Automatic Duct Manufacturing Division.
Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment from the USA and Europe, this facility will manufacture high-
quality HVAC ducts and accessories fabricated from a variety of materials.
Adding even more to our capabilities at CAT.

Benefits
T
o minimize field-assembly costs, CAT rectangular ducts are
available in lengths up to 1.2 meters while 1.5 meter lengths
are optional. The longitudinal seams of these ducts are usually
made with Pittsburgh locks.
CAT manufactures a good mix of accessories to suit differing
needs. Apart from highly economical TDF transverse duct
connectors, S&C drive slip joints, four-bolt connectors as well
as applied duct connectors are available.
Rectangular ducts can be supplied as a completely assembled
system or as knocked down for assembly at the site. CAT also
offers the option of customized rectangular ducts to customers
specifications for industrial and commercial applications.

CNC PLASMA CUTTING MACHINE (DUAL TABLE) The VICON
8000 HVAC Plasma Cutting System is the ultimate solution for
complete automation of the duct fttings cutting process. Fast,
reliable and accurate, this state-of-the-art machine greatly
reduces wastages and operating costs. This versatile machine
cuts a variety of materials up to half-inch in thickness.
VISOFT HVAC CUTTING SOFTWARE is a menu-driven and user-
friendly program set to SMACNA and DW standards. Features
include a full array of HVAC fttings and shapes with user-defned
ftting libraries, Super Nest and common line cutting for optimum
material utilization, time-saving DXF fle importing including auto
kerfs and auto lead in true CAD sketch program.
CNC FOLD N SHEAR COIL LINE is a combination of hydraulic
shearing and bending station capable of both bending and
shearing of 60 of 16 gauge mild steel. Engel PC-based controls
with proprietary rectangular duct software simplify operation.
When the exact gauge coil is fed through the shearing blade,
its cut according to the input value. After which, it goes through
the beading and lock forming wheels which act as a stifener for
rectangular ducts.
RAS DUCT ZIPPER MACHINE From the raw edge, this machine
creates and closes the seam on ducts in one smooth and simple
operation. Apart from saving time and cost, this ensures leak-
proof ducts of consistent quality.
POWER FLANGING MACHINE produces edge fanges on
straight, round and curved sheet metal quickly and efciently.
With an optional system, the material is guided automatically to
produce 8 mm or 10 mm fanges on 0.5 to 1 mm material. A top
attachment for producing a button punch is available.
HYDRAULIC FOLDING MACHINE Morgan hydraulic folder is an
advanced machine developed and perfected over many years
and is well-known for its high quality. The folder has a welded
steel frame and the internal stress is reduced by a vibration
treaded material making the machine durable, rigid and
difcult to deform. Fully hydraulic with 4-way joystick control
and with split sectional dampers, this machine is suitable
for box type duct products.
