With Halloween just a few months away, I thought today would be the perfect time to post about the best selling candy products/brands in the United States. As Ive learned in the past by sharing the best selling soda and best selling beer l ists, this information can often be notoriously hard to track down. Fortunately for us, Business Week recently featured some information on the best-selling ca ndy in the United States. Any surprises for me on this list? One big one: Amer icans LOVE gum. Love it! Different gum brands made up 5 of the top 10 spots in total sales and 9 of the top 25 (PLUS tic-tacs and ice breakers made the top 25) . When I started looking for this information, I wasnt counting on gum being suc h a major player.
