When you require medical attention, you want to know you have someone you can trust and depend on. At McLeod Loris and McLeod Seacoast our nurses are the first point of contact for patients. Countless lives have been healed and forever changed by a nurse. This is why well trained and qualified nurses are so vital to the work we do. The Sylvia Kitchen Memorial Nursing Scholarship has been established to honor the legacy of our former Director of Nursing, Sylvia Kitchen. After many years of dedicating her life to helping others and encouraging young adults to pursue the compassionate profession of nursing, Sylvia lost her battle with cancer. It is essential that we provide nursing scholarships to qualified nursing students who want to continue a tradition of providing exceptional care. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, leadership and financial need. We hope you will join us by investing in the future of our nurses.
