The KMC is a full-featured, high-performance mobile that meets the demands of conventional radio customers. Today's conventional communications customers require a radio that delivers reliable service and offers useful features. The KMC is the perfect solution.
Product Overview
The KMC is a cost-effective, feature-rich mobile radio designed to deliver highquality performance. This rugged radio is available in VHF and UHF, operating in wideband and narrowband modes. optional microphone with a keypad), and G-STAR encode/decode are available. Optional G-STAR encodes and decodes are as follows: Encodes: PTT, ID, Emergency, Status Decodes: Group Call, All Call, Interrogate, Radio Disable, Radio Enable, Open Mic Monitor
High-Visibility Display
The KMC functions on a standard 128-channel, 8-character alphanumeric liquid crystal display (LCD). The display is designed to maximize available space and make the radio easy to read and use. The backlit display helps maintain visibility in low-light environments.
PC Programmable
Programmable options provide versatility, simplified setup, and easy field upgrades. Changing personalities is as simple as connecting to a personal computer. Programmable options include Channel Guard (CTCSS and CDCSS), Type 99 decode, European Five-Tone Sequential encode/decode, G-STAR encode/decode, alert tone, scan, DTMF, and power-up.
Signaling Options
The KMC features a number of signaling options, including European Five-Tone Sequential encode/decode, Channel Guard encode/decode with Squelch Tail Eliminator (STE), and Digital Channel Guard encode/decode with STE. In addition, Type 99 decode, Dual-tone Multifrequency (DTMF) encode (using an
