Purpose: To Reach People with the Love of Christ Two people per team are responsible for making contact with at least two prospects per month. How you make contact with your prospects is up to you: whatever fits your schedule or comfort level. Reach out to people in the way that God has gifted you. We ask that you start praying right now about this opportunity to be a witness in reaching out to others with the Love of Jesus Christ. We are really excited about what God is going to do through our people.

Join us for a Potluck Dinner @ the church (in our department opening room). The SS Dept will provide the meat- fried chicken. Please bring a side and/or a dessert. This will be a time of casual hanging out/fellowship as well as a time for us, as a department, to discuss/brainstorm about redecorating our department opening room and classrooms. Please plan on attending as we would like everyones ideas/opinions on how we would like our department rooms to look.

Continue to keep the Pastor Search Committee in your prayers. They have reduced the number of candidates that will continue to be evaluated. And the process of going to hear candidates preach has begun. There is much work yet to be completed, but good progress is being made. Preparations for another short term missions trip are underway. This years trip will be a little different than those in the past. We will be taking more of the Youth with us and be focusing more on reaching the Mexican people in and around the city of Parras de le Fuente, Mexico. We will be helping teach Vacation Bible School for a local church in town or in one of the villages nearby. We are really excited about this opportunity for us to go back to Mexico with more of an evangelistic focus. A passport is required (to be purchased on your own). Estimated out of pocket cost is $170/person. First deposit of $50 is due February 26. Second and third payments of $40 each are due March 25 and April 29. Final payment of $40 is due May 20.
