RESEARCH WORK & PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

B.E. projects: o Integrated Drunk and Driving Prevention System Using IR Spectroscopy: The principle of IR

Spectroscopy that certain organic molecules absorb particular frequencies is used here to detect the presence of a drunk driver and an ignition interlocking device is designed to prevent ignition in such a case. o Stair Case Climbing Wheel Chair: The usage of the sensors in combination with the mechanical system has helped us in innovating a new wheel chair for the differently abled persons.
B.E. Final Year Project As is needless to say; about 25% of the people suffer from paralytic attack. So the main aim of the project is to provide an aid for them, which makes them live a normal life. Usually our project uses HUMAN MOTON TRACKING (HMT) system. Our project consists of three modes of working based on the head movement of the differently able. First mode consists of operation of a wheelchair with the head movement, which consists of only two wheels. Second mode helps them climb stair case easy by wheel over wheel design. Finally the third mode helps them operate the home-based appliances (TV, A.C, Fan, etc.,). This controlling of home based appliances also with the help of head movement. Usually these features help the differently able work better and provide them an aid to their day-to-day life. And this is completely integrated and makes life simple for the differently able.

PROJECT PRESENTATION
Competition organized by National Institute of Ocean Technology to develop an Autonomous Underwater vehicle was held at 2010 and around 250 colleges all around India participated. There were various levels in the competition and the teams were selected based on various criterias and I was selected one among the five finalists in this competition. Won the second prize in the project exhibition 2011 organized by Sri Sai Ram Engineering College on 23rd March 2011 and the project was on the topic Intellichair-MEMS based aid for paralytic attacked patients. Won first prize in the project presentation Intecho11 organized by Madras institute of technology-Anna university which held in the Instrumentation Engineering Department. Won the second prize in the project presentation organized by the Institution of Electronics and communication Engineers held on 25.02.2010.
