Front side CAT - Arc to block support

WR: Front side Receivers - Crack your 1st man inside your alignment.
Backside Receivers - Go through the middle of the field.

Ball Carrier: Flat course to the call side. Secure the pitch and stretch.

F in Lion: Front side Lion - Arc to block support.

QB: Under center reverse pivot, toss, naked away. Gun - Flip toss.

0- Line Tech: PST - "U" pull for alley. Zone quick schem_e& cut levels.

FST: Pull deep to clear double crack and block alley defender. Probably the FSLB.

FSG: Zone levels - cut.

C: Zone levels - cut.

BSG: Zone levels - cut.

DESCRIPTION:

A Tailback zone lead play to the a gap/1-2I tech. Blocking scheme stretches and lead blocks the
frontside and powerzone the backside which cuts the defense to create multiple running lanes.

COACHING POINTS:

c.P. - Backs read first covered OL outside - in for bounce to front side cuts.
c.P. - BSLB fast flow is cutback read after DL stretch front side.
c.P. - TB must press the play side OT to stretch the defense.
c.P. - FB read it like the TB and attack the outside leg of LB.

FSY: Outside base the 9 tech to get stretch. Torque on 3rd step if defender stays outside.
TB reads the play from outside-in. Cover and deny inside movement. Create
movement! c.P. - if OT is uncovered he will turn out.

BSY: Wall off9 tech - possible Moon.

WR: Man on or pass route.

Ball Carrier: Drop, cross, & roll step. POA is the inside leg of the tackle. Read 3 tech or wider.
Versus Under defense read the BSLB

F: Block the first LB outside-in. Adjust versus 3 tech slant. Cover the LB.

QB: Front out at 5/7 o'clock - hand the ball deep to ball carrier. Set to pass after the
handoff.

0- Line Tech: Remove blocking concept to the A gap defender. Outside base front side to stretch the defense
and powerzone backside to cut off the defense. Get horizontal movement on the stretch and vertical movement
on the power blocks to displace the defense.
c.P. Secure A gap defender to BSLB
c.P. Stay square on all blocks
c.P. After the third step ofthe stretch if you haven't secured outside leverage torque the defender.

FST: Outside base the 5 tech to get a stretch. Back will be inside or outside depending
on your leverage. You are the initial read. Do not attempt to turn out.

FSG: Power block with the center on the A gap defender to the back side LB. Secure the
defender and get movement. Stay on DBL team until LB declares.

C: Power block with the guard on the A gap defender to the back side LB. Secure the
defender and get movement. Stay on DBL team until LB declares.

BSG: Backside cutoff combination depending on the front. Must sustain blocks for
cutback or back.

BST: Backside cutoff combination depending on the front. Must sustain blocks for
cutback or back.

 DESCRIPTION:

Off tackle tailback run to the open end with veer/gap blocking scheme at POA and counter
backfield action. Backside guard pulls to kick out (or cut) E.O.L. and F back follows and reads
guard to lead on FSLB.

COACHING POINTS:

c.P. - Alert with TE run 4 weak fronts.

c.P. - BSG, F, and TB must read EOL with guard staying up on kick out and cutting on log.
c.P. - Hit the play downhill with speed.

BSY:
Release flat inside 1st LB -do not allow anyone to cross your face.

WR: Running Lane.

Ball Carrier:
Align at 7 % yards, take a short shuffle away. Aim at the inside leg of the tackle - if A gap opens
take it. Follow lead blocker - 1Xl- key block on EMOL - inside or outside.

F:
5 yard depth in "Q" or far align. Quick shuffle away in "Q" - step up in far & lead play side.
Key block on EMOL - underneath or around. Block 1st LB in box.

QB: Reverse out opposite play side. Get ball deep to ball carrier. Stay off Mid Line - give the
ball carrier a look at the a gap. Naked away on fake.

0- Line Tech: Gap/Veer scheme at POA. BSG pulls to kick out (or cut) at POA with pad level and eyes
''-.../ I inside.
c.P. Eyes up for run through.
c.P. Cut EOL who wrong arms
c.P. Tag at POA must get vertical movement.

FEST: FSG covered, tag defender to BSLB with vertical movement. PSG uncovered, veer to first
LB backside and protect FSLB run thru.

FSG: Covered, tag defender with FST to BSLB with vertical movement. Uncovered, block back on
nose tackle with Cover call or Gash with center to BSLB vs. 30.

c: Block back thru A to B gaps to first down defender backside. If blocking back and covered
with a DL, Cover call to FSG to also block back.

BSG:
Pull to POA and kick out (or cut) EOL. Get downhill and inside out with leverage.

BST:
Protect backside B gap threat with funnel call to the center or gap/hinge technique, then wall
backside EOL.

COACHING POINTS:

c.P. - Multiple formations.

c.P. - A one back play.

FSY: Base.

WR:
Running Lane. Near deep back (must block a rolled corner).
Ball Carrier:
Jab step for back. Aim for play side A gap. Get on pulling tackle's hip, read through or around.

QB:
When back is ball carrier, reach and ride, eyeball backside EOL, he is your responsibility.
If he squeezes, you can pull the ball and keep it to the outside.
