1) From the Commissioner & Director of Agriculture, Hyderabad Letter No.A5(5)/627/2011, Dt.5.8.2011. 2) From the Commissioner & Director of Agriculture, Hyderabad Letter No.A5(5)/627/2011, Dt.3.9.2011. *** ORDER: In the letter first read above, the Commissioner & Director of Agriculture, Hyderabad has reported that it is essential to fill up the vacant 881 posts of Agriculture Extension Officers Grade.II for effective implementation of various State and Central Government sponsored schemes and programmes, transfer of technology, assisting the Agricultural Officers and the Assistant Directors of Agriculture in imparting of various trainings to the farmers besides, identification of non loanee farmers, tenant farmers, collection of soil samples, collection of data on crop wise area sown, crop cutting experiments under Crop Insurance programme, distribution of farm implements, Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana, NFSM, MMA, Farm Mechanization, Polambadi, Seed distribution, Organic Farming and Rythu Mitra Groups etc. Therefore there is an imperative need to reinforce the field staff i.e., Agriculture Extension Officers, to extend extension service to every nook and corner of the villages. 2. The Commissioner & Director of Agriculture, Hyderabad has requested the Government to permit to fill up 881 vacant posts of Agriculture Extension Officers in the districts for successful implementation of State/Central Government schemes throughout the year and for effective transfer of technology to the farming community. 3. Government after careful examination of proposal, hereby accord permission to the Commissioner & Director of Agriculture, Hyderabad to fill up 881 vacant posts of Agricultural Extension Officers Grade.II by direct recruitment, on regular basis in A.P. Agricultural Sub-ordinate Services, as per the district-wise vacancies annexed to this order, duly following the Rule of Reservation (Roster point) and as per Presidential Order, 1975. 4. The Commissioner & Director of Agriculture, Hyderabad shall take further necessary action in the matter.
