Pick ONE text from the ERP list (overleaf) and perform the task below. At the top of your assignment, be sure to state the title of the novel you have read and the name of its author. All work must be original and all references used must be acknowledged in your assignment. Task After reading the text that you have chosen, select (i) 2 incidents that depict a significant rising action, climax, near-climax or conflict, (ii) 2 incidents that depict a significant development of characterization and (iii) 2 incidents that depict a significant development of theme from the text. Create a pictorial representation for each of the 6 incidents that you have selected from the text. You should use speech/thought bubbles in your storyboard to aid in infusing characterization and theme in your illustrations. Each pictorial representation must be accompanied by an explanation on the significance of the incidents selected. This means that you are required to explain why these incidents are significant/important in the text. Note: You must not alter the facts of the story in your pictorial representations. Your illustrations can be hand-drawn or computer-generated and you may choose to colour them. The 6 explanations in total must not exceed 300 words.
