It has exhibited, to the highest degree, the principal features of professionalism, including a systematic body of theory, authority to define problems and their treatment, community sanctions to admit and trains its member, ethical codes that stress an ideal of service to other and a culture that includes the institutions necessary to carry out all of its functions. However, in recent years the value and even the validity of medical professionalism have been called into question as a result of changes in society and in medicine itself. To make a conducive situation, we as a doctor should act based on professionalism to every patients and have a good morality in terms of ethics. Personal professionalism-especially in medicine, it is very important and critical in every medical practice. It needs some attributes so we can call somebody has professionalism or not. Based on Bendapudi et al. (2006) there are some personal category that the doctor have to had according to patients perspectives on ideal physician behaviors. There are confident, respectful, thorough, empathetic, human, personal, and forthright- as we will discuss according to the tasks.

Case 1 The first task which explain that a resident doctor having examination of pregnant woman who have sent to him by his senior doctor. In this case, the senior doctor has also done some short examination (5 minutes). Because of the shortness of time, the senior doctor only done blood pressure test not in the examination room and by his assistant. When the resident doctor also doing examination, including laboratory, fetus test, and blood pressure test in appropriate time, he found that the patient is in normal conditions (different result). The resident doctor is afraid by the senior for some factors so finally he explain the patient that she is in high risk of hypertension and bad pre-eclamsia. 1. The ethical issue in this case is about truth telling and clinical clearance. Because in this situation the resident doctor didnt tell the patient and his senior about the right condition of his patient. He didnt show clinical clearance by his attitude to keep the secret of what he is found and didnt check the later consequences. Besides that the resident doctor also afraid by the seniors doings after he explain the truth. The other ethical issue which is implied in this case is respect for seniors or colleagues, because of he thinks that he have not any business against the senior.

2. The personal attribute implied in this case: a. Doctor to patient: confident and thorough Doctor should have a confidence to tell what she/he has found about the patient illness or health condition. Besides that, the doctor also has to show conscientious and persistent about the patient condition. b. Doctor to senior: thorough and forthright The resident doctor has to be honest, conscientious and persistent to the other health practitioner so he can make consultation about the possible diagnosis or decision that will be explained. 3. What I would do if I were in that case. a. For senior doctor Ill describe what I have found about her health condition, so the senior doctor can make correction about the test result, so that might not harm the later condition of patient. b. For Patient For the later, I will make other examination or suggesting the senior to control new examination for the correct result that can affect the future psicological factors and the treatment that can be given. Case2 It is about the midwife that send a message to confirm that the patient had to do caesaria operation. But in the other hand the doctor found that the woman condition is normal, and the normal born process can do and cancel the caesarian operation. Because of the fee that midwife will get, the doctor do the caesaria operation. 1. The ethical issue implied in this case are veracity (truth telling) and clinical clearance about the wrong clinical procedure. Because the doctor hesitate that the patient cannot the exchange of the process to normal operation, while the midwife said that it must be caesaria. So, he kept the secret that patient can do another operation process. 2. The personal attribute implied in this case:
c. Specialist Doctor to patient: forthright, humane, respectful

Specialist doctor should have a clearance to tell what she/he has found about the patient illness or health condition. Besides that, the doctor also has to show conscientious and

persistent about the patient condition. We should consider the patient humanity aspect, so we can handle anybody as a full individual. We should pay respect to the patient, because the patient have a right to know the clinical procedure that can be proceed for the better future.
d. Specialist Doctor to midwife: forthright

The resident doctor has to be honest, conscientious and persistent to the other health practitioner so he can make consultation about the possible diagnosis or decision that will be explained. 3. What I would do if I were in that case. First, Ill explain to the midwife the true condition of the woman pregnancy. For that reason, I hope the midwife will explain first the result before we proceeding the operation. If not, I will explain the patient the true fact about this so she can decide the best of them and get the patient interest. After that, I will explain that humanity aspect we should consider rather than economical aspect. If we do this, we will not be a true physician or doctor. Ill also tell the midwife that what she will do is against the law so she can be punished.
