OTHER IMPORTANT REMINDERS: A.Midterm Grade: - The bases for your midterm grades are the following: - complete entries of weekly reflection papers about your community immersion. Your submitted reflection paper is also a basis for your attendance and class participation grade. This means that, if you failed to submit your weekly reflection paper, you are considered absent for that week and may entitle you to be marked as (UD) if you already incurred a corresponding number of absences. - Midterm Exam - 3 Pages Reflection Paper ( This is a consolidated / integration paper/ reflection of your community immersion) This requirement was discussed during the class discussion which I posted in the yahoogroup prior to the midterm exam week. Only those who submitted the midterm requirement shall be given a grade for midterm period. The midterm paper should have been submitted during the midterm exam week. However, a lot of students did not comply with the said requirement. Late midterm papers shall no longer be accepted.
- If you were absent during the scheduled class/ meeting, you should have been

more pro-active to inquire in the FCL Department about what transpired in the said meeting/ scheduled class . Reasons/ alibis such as: I was not aware or I was absent, my classmates did not inform me about it are not valid reasons. As a university student, you are supposed to be more mature to know your academic responsibilities.

Please be guided accordingly.
