Technology development covers all areas, including education. In education, technology developments also happen in education. In Indonesia, education grow rapidly. With the information and communication technology can help us to learn and get the information we need from anywhere, anytime, and from anyone. In the world of information technology education beginning to be felt to have a positive impact due to the development of information technology education began to show significant changes. Many things that feel different and changed compared to the way that developed earlier. At the present time and distance is not a problem, which means to gain knowledge, a variety of applications created to facilitate it. Of course the development technology also effect the teaching-learning activities. Teaching and learning activities is the communication that must be implemented by teachers and students. Technology is very influential in the teaching-learning process. In general, IT will empower students to have greater control over the learning process, with all the benefits associated with active learning and personal responsibility. Because of that, all the elements that support learning and teaching activity deserves attention. One of many element is the use of media in teaching and learning. Instructional media as one means of channeling the message or information from teacher to student. Along with advances in technology now, especially the schools in big cities start using the LCD projector. The media is in the process of learning can help teachers deliver the content so students better understand the process and the stages in the material provided. Media LCD projector itself has advantages where teachers can submit items via Powerpoint. In Senior High School Plus Number 17 Palembang especially in history lesson expected to increase the interest in student learning. The writer choose History lesson because in writer opinion LCD projectors will be helpfully to students of X.C, because with LCD projector it can help students of X.C to get any description of the events that happened in the past. Based on that the writer need to hold research on effects of media use LCD projectors to interest of X.C student in learning History lesson.

LITERATURE REVIEW
2.1 Teaching-Learning Activity 2.1.1 Definition of Learning Learning is an activity that brings changes to individual that study. The Change is not just about the amount of knowledge but also in the form of skills, habits, attitudes, understanding, appreciation, interest, conformity, in short on all aspects of one's personal or (Nasution, 1995: 35). According to the psychological sense, learning is a process of change that is behavior changes as a result of interaction with its environment in meeting their daily needs. (Slameto, 2003: 2). Next Winkel (1989: 15) suggests that learning on humans is a process cycle that takes place in an active interaction subject with the environment that produce some changes in knowledge, understanding, skills that are settled or constant. It Sardiman (1992: 22) states that learning is always a changes in behavior or skills with a series of activities such as reading, watching, listening and so forth. From the description above, some opinions can be formulated that definition of learning is a process to achieve a goal that is change into better direction. These changes are changes in knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behavior that are settled. The other definition in developed countries say that teaching is guidance to student in the learning process. This definition indicates that the one who active is the student, who experienced the learning process. Teachers only guide, and show the way by counting the personality of student. The opportunity to act and think more actively given to student. Teaching defined by Sudjana (2000: 37) is as a tool that planned through the arrangement and provision of enabling conditions student perform various learning activities as optimal as possible. Pasaribu (1983: 7) teaching is an activity that organizing (set) environment as well as possible with a child so there is result in the learning process.

From the above description can be concluded that teaching is a activity that guide and organize the environment around the students, to create a conducive learning environment that enables the process optimal learning. 2.5 LCD as Learning Media Liquit Crystal Display (LCD) is currently used as a screen of Note Book computer or laptop. Laptops that combined with the projector can be used as medium of interesting learning. Views that generated on the screen is quite big between the 2 x 2 meters, is suitable for large groups or classes. A cross between laptops with LCD projectors can present the message or teaching materials according to design / drafting that has been prepared. With full-color display (Full Colour) that very interesting can increase students' interest and attention in participating the learning process. Laptop and LCD projectors can be used as a media of learning for all areas of study in accordance with the characteristics of each material. To make a good Powerpoint design required special skills, teachers need to learn how to design messages properly so student has interest in learning so that students can learn with ease. With audio-visual appearance, LCD has many benefits and advantages over other learning media. According to research conducted by experts students can absorb the knowledge through the senses of sight as much as 83%, 11% through the senses of hearing and through the other senses of 6%. Means that using audio visual media motion (LCD), students can absorb as much as 94% of the science material displayed with details of 83% through the senses of vision and 11% through the senses of hearing. This indicates show that the audio-visual media such as LCD motion very well used as a media of learning in school. Source : http://haryonostkip.blogspot.com/2009/01/liquit-crystal-displaylcd.html

5.1 Conclussion From the results of these papers the writer finally get the conclusion that the form of:
1.

LCD Projector is a very expensive learning media for public

schools. However, this learning media is really effective for students of X.C class especially in History lesson.
2.

Use LCD as learning media is effective and better than not use LCD

projector. This is of course because students of X.C can be more understand and can increase the learning interest of the student when students of X.C class is teached using
3.

LCD projector.

The Teacher of X.C class should increase the frequency of using

LCD, because as we know from the result of observation explain that the teacher should increase the frequency of LCD projector. This is because the students can be more understand and also increase the learning interest of students in X.C class. 5.2 Suggestion In these papers the writer also gives some suggestions. Suggestions are:
1.

The writer hope that with this BUGEMM the students of X.C class

really can increase their learning interest in History lesson. It means, when the teacher is teaching, the students must pay full attention to the teacher. Because of course the students cannot understand what teacher teach if the students dont pay attention and busy with their own business.
2.

The writer also suggest to the students of X.C class to increase their

learning achivement especially in History lesson because our school already prepare additional infrastructure that we cannot use in every school.
