Presenters
Michael G. Vaughn is currently Associate Professor in the School of Social Work and holds appointments in Public Policy and the Department of Community Health, Division of Epidemiology, Saint Louis University School of Public Health. Dr. Vaughn has published over 90 articles. In addition to several projects examining psychopathology, adolescent health, adolescent substance abuse, self-regulation, school dropout, and violence, he is developing and testing a general biosocial public health model for research and intervention applications. Dr. Vaughn is developing and testing a general biosocial public health model for research and intervention applications. Shannon Cooper-Sadlo is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Saint Louis University School of Social Work. She currently teaches a BSSW level practice course, an MSW level course in the Health and Mental Health Concentration, and serves as a faculty liaison in the Field Education department. Ms. Cooper-Sadlo is a graduate of the Saint Louis University BSSW program and of the University of Denver MSW program. She has been in clinical practice for 14 years. Ms. CooperSadlo has significant experience in hospitals and community mental health settings with duallydiagnosed populations.
