Join us for activities this Spring. Start out the month with a traditional Easter Egg hunt; then continue the Easter mood with a game of Easter Bingo, and an Easter craft. Dye Easter eggs with us during the day or in the evening. Bowl with Angela at Cave Springs Lanes. Dont miss the SAS version of Cupcake wars. There will be four teams and guest judges to vote on the best decorated cupcakes. Spruce up your cupcake decorating skills by attending one of the decorating classes before the event. The third week of the month is Science week. So join us for lots of fun experimentation and activities with a scientific twist.. Join us for a cooking class/ lunch where we make homemade Lasagna, a salad and breadsticks and then eat lunch together. Join Shelley for her new Music with Shelley activities that are being offered during the day and evening starting this month. We are also gearing up for the community garden so come to the planning meeting to get ready to plant the first week of May. wee

Celebrate Earth day with a Nature Walk at Creve Coeur park Meet at the flagpole at 1:00 and we will return 3:00pm (the walk is 1:30-2:30)

4//14 Bowling with Angela-If you want to caravan be at the main campus flagpole at 9:45 or meet at Cave Springs Lanes at 10:00am. The bowling alley is located at 4055 Mexico road in St. Peters. Clients will be charged $2.00-$7.00; but no cash is needed the day of. Charge will vary according to amount of games bowled. Wheelchair accessible.

4/4 Listen to Steven Means soulful brew of pop music at noon at St. Charles Community College caf-/bookstore.

Remember SAS is offering kits for a monthly project or activity to be done in-home. If you would like to participate in the offered project ask your home manager to contact Angela Curtis.

4/13-4/15 Celebrate Scottish Heritage at Frontier Park in Old Town St. Charles. Activities on the 14th include a reception and crowning of Miss Tartar and a parade starting at noon. On the 15th activities include a Kirkin of the Tartar ceremony at 10:00 a.m. Hours on the 13th are 5-8 p.m., the 14th 10a.m. 10p.m., and on the 15th 10a.mto 5:00 p.m.. 4/27 & 4/28- Annual Spring Artwalk is held along Main Street in Old Town St. Charles and the foundry. It features the works of numerous local artists . The ambiance of the event is enhanced with music and flowers.

4/25&4/26Listen to the Hey Mones group who play a mixture of rock, funk, soul and R&B . It starts at 11a.m. at St. Charles community College .
