The recruitment shall be made in accordance with the UGC norms / Regulations on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education 2010. 1.0 ) NOTE:

ONLINE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION: The applicant has to submit his/her application online as well as hard copy with relevant enclosures and send to the address mentioned below at point 2.8.0.

1. 2. 3. Applicants are advised to submit the applications to the University well in advance, without waiting till the last date, to avoid postal delay or any other unforeseen problems. The University will not be responsible for any postal delay at any stage. It will be open to the University to consider, on its own, names of suitable candidates who might not have applied. Candidate shall not claim it as a matter of right. The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same will not entitle him/her for being called for interview. The University reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number on the basis of qualifications and/or experience higher than the minimum prescribed. Call letters to attend interview will be sent only to the short-listed candidates by Email or SMS or Speed Post or Registered Post or Courier service. No correspondence will be made with applicants who are not short-listed/not called for interview. a) Reservations for SC, ST, OBC and PWD candidates exist as per the Rosters being maintained by the University for various posts in accordance with the guidelines of the UGC. considered. In case a candidate wants to claim benefits under the Persons with Disability category, the candidates relevant b)

Candidates shall not claim it as a matter of right. Canvassing in any form on behalf of any candidate will definitely disqualify such a candidate. Selection will be made on the basis of candidates previous record and their performance in the interview. The University may also utilize seminar /colloquium and/or any other mode as a method of selection. Experience and qualifications will be reckoned as on the preceding day to the date of employment notification (not the date of publication of the employment notification). Good and clear photocopies of all certificates must be attached to the application. Those who have joined the University service on or after 1st January 2004 or are joining are covered under new pension scheme introduced by the Government of India (Central Government). Guidelines for filling in Application Form


1. Candidates must read the instructions before filling the application form in. Candidates must ensure that no column is wrongly filled in either Part-A, Part-B or Summary Sheet of the form as the information furnished therein would be used for deciding the eligibility and suitability of the candidates for being called for the interview. Applications not filled in correctly, completely or as per the instructions in both Part-A, Part-B and summary sheet are liable to be rejected and the onus of such rejection would be on the candidate himself/herself. 2. Copies of the certificates should be attached in support of information given in the form where necessary and serial No. of enclosure attached should be indicated in the respective column given in the form. Any information contained in the attached certificates shall not be considered unless it is claimed in the application form. 3. Application form consists of Part A, Part B and Summary Sheet. 4. Please note that UGC Regulations-2010 as amended from time to time form an integrated part of this advertisement, and as such are available on the University website. CATEGORY III: Research and Publications and Academic Contribution This part of the form is to be filled in as per Appendix III Table 1, Category III of the UGC Regulations 2010 which is available on the University Grant Commission website. Wherever the research contribution is jointly made, the API scores should be shared between the contributors as per the formula provided in Table 1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING IN SUMMARY SHEET OF THE APPLICATION FORM Summary Sheet of the application form should be filled in on the basis of information provided in Part A and B of the application form. 1. Personal Information: As filled in Part A of the Application Form. 2. Educational Qualifications: As filled in Part A of the Application Form. 3. Number of Publications: Indicate only total number of publications. Articles published or accepted for publication should be indicated separately in the boxes provided. In case of conference proceedings, only full papers should be included; it should not include abstracts published in conference proceedings. 4. Teaching Experience: It should include full-time experience only. Indicate total period of experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 5. Research Experience: Mention only the period of research experience (in year)
excluding number of years for acquiring Ph.D., number of projects completed or in progress should be indicated in respective boxes. If there is any patent in the name of the applicant, the number may please be mentioned in the box. 6. The period of experience rendered by the candidate on part-time basis, daily wages, visiting / guest faculty will not be counted while calculating the valid experience to shortlist the candidates for interview. 7. API Score: Calculate total API score under category-III of Part B of the application form and indicate total score in the boxes.
