SPEECH TO ATTRACT DONORS ANDVOLUNTEERS Assalammualaikum w.b.t and a very pleasant morning I greet to all.

We a re here today to help those people who really need our help and assistance. Ladies and gentleman, Have you ever felt hungry but you have no money to buy foods? Have you ever drinks raindrops as you have no other sources of water? Have you ever gone th rough a life without education and books? A life without medicine during your si ckness? I am pretty sure that none of us have ever experience those kinds of sit uation. We are all here having good necessities and environment to live with or maybe some of us is having a luxurious lifestyle. However, in other sides of the world, our friends are struggling to find foods and water in order to continue livin g. While we are able to do so, its better if we can share some of our properties and lend our hands as who knows one day soon we will be one of them and ne ed helps too. . Today Id like to talk to you about first, the poverty issues in our country, and secondly, what you can do in order to help them. Absolute poverty or destitution refers to the one who lacks basic human n eeds, which commonly includes clean and fresh water, nutrition, health care, ed ucation, clothing and shelter. About 1.7 billion people are estimated to live in ab solute poverty. They have problems in receiving clean and fresh water, slow pro gress in getting medicine and helps from professionals in medical area, also the ir children is illiterate due to lack of good transportation that enable them to go t o school. Ladies and gentleman, Have you realised how lucky we are compared to them? There are many ways that we can do in order to help them. Firstly, we can donate boxes of food like canned foods, noodles, beans, and an y other dried foods that will last a long time and don't need refrigerated. This will help them a lot on a long period of time. Secondly, we can donate used blanket and clothes. Thirdly, we can donate boo ks and toys for the children. Many of them interested to learn but because of the ir condition of life, they cannot do so. Fourthly, we can also donate medicine and waters. This will help them more tha n everything. This is the biggest problems that need our attention. Fifthly, we ca n donate in monetary form. Either by cheque or cash. This money will be used i n order to buy their basic needs. Finally and the most important one, if you are u

nable to donate your money or stuff, you can lend your hands and give some su pport to them. Lets join us and be one of our volunteers. Your help and commit ments mean a lot to them.
