2. Polymer Facility:
Subcontractor, Innovative Steel, installed handrail sections at the Polymer Facility. Western Water will return work forces to this area prior to the start up of the Primary Clarifier systems.

7. Site improvements
Western Water completed installation of the guardrail along the west end of the plant access road. They also complete the cross gutter over the Ross Valley Interceptor and along the east end of access road. They also installed bollards at various locations, including the fire hydrants, post indicator valve and other structures. Subcontractor, Cats 4 U, continued site work in preparation for paving, including off-haul of excessive soil and preparation of road subgrade. Paving is expected to be completed in November.
8. Aeration Tanks
Western Water completed the work to most of the aeration tank gates. Two gates, requiring off-set motor drives, will be completed in November. Loop Acceptance Testing, Complete

End-to-End Testing has been completed and Strategy Field Testing of these gates is underway.

The fire alarm system will require outside phone lines ( 10/20/2009 2) . I believe (1) can be shared , but (1) must be dedicated to the alarm panel at the EPS. We have installed phone wiring to the telephone panel as shown on the drawings. Please have the phone lines installed and inform WWC once ready for connection to the new fire alarm panel in the EPS. Spec Section 10520-2 requires the installation of (5) fire 10/22/2009 extinguishers, (5) cabinets, and (5) orange flags. Spec Section 10520-2 indicates the units are to be installed as directed by the OWNER. Please provide the (5) locations per Spec Section 10520-2.
