At the last general meeting the new executive commit- national meeting in San
tee for 2008-2009 was elected and thereafter transi-
Antonio
tioned into their respective positions. So now that the
new committee is in place, a bit more introduction of
each member is in order. Below are the brief biogra-
phies of each member to help you get to know each
member a bit better.

President - Scott Kershaw

Scott is a member of the class of 2011 and was APhA-ASP’s president elect
for 2007-2008. He held the position of class president his P1 year. His favorite
animal is the cutthroat trout and he lives by the words of Starr Phillips, “if you
ain’t havin’ fun, you ain’t doin’ it right” .

Vice President - Natalie Van Heek

Natalie is also a member of the class of 2011 and
is Operation Immunization co-chair. Natalie is also
Creighton Rosary Club president and a member of
Pi Lambda Sigma. In her free time she likes cook-
ing and baking.

President Elect - Dave Williams

Dave is a member of the class of 2012. Dave is involved in Operation Immuniza-
tion and also is the head of a music committee that plans music activities for nurs-
ing homes within the Omaha area. Apart from the prior mentioned activities and
academics, playing piano is where Dave’s passion lies. If there is one quote that
can sum up his outlook on life it is the following: “It’s not the amount of hours
you put in, it’s what you put in the hours.”

Treasurer - Chi Nguyen

Chi is a member of the class of 2011. She held the
treasurer position for APhA-ASP for 2007-2008
and is her class treasurer as well. She is also a
member of Phi Delta Chi and Pi Lambda Sigma. If
she’s not managing finances she’s listening to
Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey.

Public Relations - Kathryn Schmid

Kathryn is a member of the class of 2011 and is the current co-chair of Operation Im-
munization. In response to the cold weather, Kathryn can often be found eating pop-
corn and drinking hot cocoa. She’s also and animal lover; her favorite being puppies.

Secretary - Allie Schroeder

Allie is member of the class of 2012. She enjoys cooking when she has time; sea-
food in general is her favorite food. The quote that she most relates to is, “well I
ain’t often right, but I’ve never been wrong” - Grateful Dead.
