Fair Wisconsin Announces 2012 Spring Endorsements

Record number of pro-fairness candidates endorsed for local office
Fair Wisconsin PAC is excited to announce our 2012 spring election endorsements. We are committed to advancing and achieving equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Wisconsinites through strategic electoral activity, by working to elect pro-fairness individuals in local, state and federal races in Wisconsin. This spring, we are thrilled to endorse a record number of pro-fairness candidates running for office in Wisconsin. We are confident that these candidates will be effective leaders in Milwaukee City and County Government, and across Wisconsin, to continue to advance equality, said Katie Belanger, Executive Director of Fair Wisconsin PAC. In addition, there were races where there is no endorsement, but all candidates participated and scored a high rating: Common Council District 12, Jose Perez and Jim Witkowiak; and County Board District 7, Michael Mayo and Jermaine Buckner.
