1. Employee/Volunteer Communication o Percival did not keep his employees and volunteers informed of the organizations lines of business and direction. He also failed to meet with them and fired a few of the paid employees without consultation. As a result of his wrongdoings, he severed his trust with his employees and volunteers and now that relationship is damaged. With no trust and relationship from the employees and volunteers, Percival and the company have lost their most vital support. 2. Corporate Identity o Percival decision to change things around from what Goodthings overall image use to be is what damaged his relationship with the company. Percival got too caught up in trying to make more money and working more efficiently (in his own manner) that he forgot what the true point of Goodthings was and should be. As a result, Percival became in a charge of company that had lost its initial mission and vision. Tactic/Model: 1. Tactic Organizational Media (Internally); Employees and Volunteers o Arrange for the new CEO to have an organizational publicity campaign to inform the Goodthings employees and volunteers about the upcoming new management, new CEO and the companys return to their original vision, mission and roots. Emphasize the importance of our employees and volunteers and give them reasons why we need them and why they are important part of Goodthings. We need a reassurance amongst our employees and volunteers that what happened in the past with Percival will not happen again. Methods: Company Website, Employee/Volunteer meeting, Brochure, pamphlet or letter sent to employee and volunteers homes, etc o Model Publicity (keeping it internal amongst the employees and volunteers) o Model - Two Way Symmetrical (get employees and volunteers back involved with some of the decision making of the company)

1. New management and CEO at Goodthings 2. Board Members. Make necessary changes to memberships. 3. Goodthings vision and mission. Make changes to revert Goodthings image back to what it use to be. Top Issue to Address: Board Members. Make necessary changes to memberships. o Objective: Get 100% of our employees, volunteers, and donors assistance back by getting rid of the old management in part by replacing some of the current board members who were involved with the fraud cases and instating a new members, new management technique and CEO by May 2012. o We need to appoint new board members, preferably donors or volunteers who still believe in the companys original vision. o We need to restate our promise and have our board members agree to it o Do a refresher course to help board members recognize how our mission is ideal o Instill repercussions in case similar unethical activity occur again within the Board members o Give the board members, employees and volunteers a reason to be apart of Goodthings build a desire to act o Remind them what Goodthings is about; Goodthings vision o Hold an event where we have our board members participate at a soup kitchen or homeless shelter remind them what the mission of Goodthings is about o Create an internal Corporate Advertising Campaign o Let employees and volunteers know about the replacement amongst board members These replacements promotes the new managements decision to revert back to what Goodthings mission and vision is all about o Look towards the future; consistent; part of rebuilding the companys reputation
