Pluggable Bus Bar System

Product Overview

The Busbar system consists of an extruded profile holding two solid copper conductors. Power is supplied to the busbar conductors using 95mm cables and colour coded RAPID LOCK Right Angle sockets. Power input and output connectors use proven CROWN BAND and CROWN CLIP contact systems for a reliable, low loss connection. The option to vary conductor thickness, to a maximum of 3mm, provides a flexible and adaptable design up to 2 metes in length with the ability to pre-form conductors to fit into those awkward envelopes.

Product Advantage
Falling objects can cause direct short between conductors
Normal forces pushing insulator apart

Insulated conductors cannot be shorted directly from falling objects.

Normal forces cancel each other out to eliminate stress to insulator

Competitor Insulator requires rigid high, strength material to control contact normal forces

Tyco Innovative design controls normal forces within profile for increased stability
