CAUSE AND EFFECT OF GLOBAL WARMING.

Global warming has become an increasingly serious issue because of the ill effects it has brought upon us. Global warming refers to rising average temperature of earths atmosphere and oceans. This situation happens when our earth having the greenhouse effects. Gases such as carbon dioxide, water vapour, nitrous oxide and methane and released to the atmosphere and trapped in heat. The main cause of global warming is when the release of harmful gases are not controlled,they will affect human health. According to data released by the World Bank, the United States was listed as the largest producer of carbon dioxide the world with a total of 60,005 tonnes. The increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is a major cause of global warming resulting from the vehicle, factory and combustion of fossil fuels, oil and coalburning gasoline. The gases from vehicle including carbon monoxide, soot, various gaseous and liquid vapour hydrocarbons, oxide of sulphur and nitrogen. Consequently, the ozone layer become thinner and it will affect on our health. The thinning of this layer will cause the ultraviolet rays up to the surface and can have a negative impact on humans, such as skin cancer and eye cataracts. Eye cataracts and skin cancer will occur if human are exposed to extreme heat waves and finally causing death. The next cause that makes global warming worse is when people cut down trees in large amount and will affect human respiratory system. Trees and other plants collect carbon dioxide (CO2), which is a greenhouse gas. Carbon dioxide is the air that our body lets out when we breathe. With fewer trees, it is harder for people to breathe because there is more CO2 in the air, and we dont breathe CO2, we breathe oxygen. Plants collect the CO2 that we breathe out, and they give back oxygen that we breathe in. With less trees and other plants, such as algae, there is less air for us, and more greenhouse gases are sent into the air. This means that it is very important to protect our trees to stop the greenhouse effect, and also so we can breathe and live. The usage of the high amount of the electricity also contributes to global warming and will have serious impact on environment. When we use many appliance of electricity we are causing more greenhouse gases to be sent in the air. Electricity causes pollution in many ways such as using an air conditioner, hair dryer and heating meal in the microwave. All these gadgets not only waste electricity but they contribute to heat in the atmosphere by using a lot of electricity. The atmosphere becomes warmer condition because temperatures

around the world increase . Higher temperatures have already caused a melting of ice in Greenland and Antarctica and this melting water has resulted in the increases of sea level. When the sea level increases, floods will happen in some part of the world. In conclusion, global warming is when the earth heats up ( the temperature rises ). It happens when greenhouses gases such as carbon dioxide, water vapour, nitrous oxide and methane trap heat and light from the sun in the earths atmosphere, which is increases the temperature. This hurts many people, animals and plants. Global warming contributes negative impact in our lives. As a human being, we have to protect our environment to prevent this issue became worst.
