Mixed Martial Arts From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a kind of sport that

uses various essential fighting techniques and styles. To name two of such are to strike and to grapple with each other right standing directly on the ground. It is a full body contact fight. It follows certain rules and regulations during the fight in the ring, as well as for the safety of each competitor. MMA is relative to boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, judo, karate, taekwondo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, muay Thai and other unarmed fighting sports. Mixed Martial Arts enhanced strength due to various styles of exercises of upper and lower body extremities , build confidence, increase self-assurance, build leadership skills, develop self discipline, improve level of fitness, maintain body balance and flexibility. MMA made fighters most superior, well-rounded, have self- defence, alert and prepared physically in any risky situations. Thus, MMA is a type sport with different fighting techniques like striking and grappling so as with boxing, wristling, etc. and today, mixed martial artists must cross-train in a variety of styles to counter their opponent's strengths and be competitive in all aspects of combat. MMA was created in 1995 by the President and CEO of Battlecade named Rick Blume. It was rooted from the ancient Olympics in the sport of Pankration utilizing the earliest documented systems of codified full range unarmed combat. Fighting contests with various techniques also took place throughout Europe, Japan and the part of Pacific during the early 1900s. Competitive combat sport like the Vale Tudo style bouts that had introduced and developed in Brazil sometime in 1920s was then brought to the United States in 1993 by the Gracie family and founded by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) that currently happens to be the largest MMA promotion company in the world. However, prior to UFC, Shooto held a professional MMA in Japan sometime in1989. One goal of all reports like proposals, progress reports, trip reports, completion reports, investigation reports, feasibility studies, or evaluation reports is the same: to communicate to an audience, although, the reports names vary, diverse in focus and aim, and differ in structure. Typical components of short reports are: 1. Title Page - The name, the title of the project and date are important and the title must be informative. 2. Abstract or Summary - It consists of about 100-200 summarized words. It's writing one
sentence to summarize each division such as objective, method, discussion and conclusions. 3. Introduction - Identifies the subject that tells the "what", purpose (or objective) which answers the "why" and the plan that says the"how". 4. Background - It consists of materials supporting information, such as a review of literature, previous research, or formulas which the reader needs to understand the problem. 5. Discussion - Its basic components are methods, results or findings and evaluations that answer the who? when? where? what? why? how?

6. Conclusions - The important information that readers get after discussion of the report.

7. Recommendations - This includes plan that readers must do after thorough discussion and should be connected to the result a research. 8. Attachments - Must consist of references and appendixes for the reader to follow on the report.
