Background
Tina Turner was born on November 26, 1939 in Nutbush, Tennessee. Tinas real name is Anna Mae Bullock. Her father was Floyd Bullock, and her mother was Zelma Bullock. Tina has one older sister , Alline Bullock, who died due to serious illness.

Tina Turner is African American. She attended Sumner High School. She finished high school, but did not go to college. Although, she did become a nurse aid at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Later then, Tina Turner became an amazing singer.

Tina Turner has many accomplishments in her life. Here are some of them: One accomplishment of Tina Turner was winning the hearts of many people. I think this means some of her work meant so much to a lot of people. Tina Turner being inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame was another accomplishment she had. There is no question why she isnt. Her music is great! One other accomplishment was her #1 hit solo track Whats Love Got To Do With It. This song brought her more into fame. This is a well-known song.
