QRawr
Imagine if you could transform any physical object into a digital wall simply by placing a sticker on it. What would you do? Use unique QR codes and a mobile app to post photos, and messages on anything, turning each QR code into a unique conversation. Qrawr, available for iOS, is free and produces a QR code thats unique. Qrawr then enables any person who scans it to both read what you originally had to say and/or see any image you have added; then, if they wish, they can add their very own text and/or image. Those who scan the item from that point onwards will get to read everything what you had said, and what was added by those who came after you. How about putting Qrawr QR codes in Library Books? Qrawr would let Library users give all that sharing a much deeper (and perhaps even more meaningful) layer. Find out more by using the QR code or the URL below... https://qrawr.com/

SnipReel - alpha
Let's just think about assessment video clips: Many Assessors capture evidence via video clips. But in addition to the required evidence/information, videos include undesired scenes. Snipreel helps assessors and/or other users, watch and share only the important parts of a video. Snipreel lets users paste in the URL of a YouTube video and then set markers for important portions of the vide, to make up a 60-second long reel. Snips are merged to make a new video and the URL can be used in ePortfolios, presentations etc. Although video embedding is currently unsupported, it is a feature that, we are told, will soon be available. Vifinition
Vifinition is a website featuring videos that define words. The Vifinition website matches YouTube videos to words; the videos aren't explanations of words so much as they are demonstrations of the words in context. Vifinition isn't perhaps an appropriate website for younger learners to access on their own; videos do come from YouTube and the site is crowd-sourced so learners access inappropriate material. Use Vifinition, as a ESOL/ESL/EFL/key skills / vocational skills/ literacy practitioner, to locate videos that can be shared with learners during vocabulary lessons and/or encourage learners to create video clips for words in context.
