Opposed blade type Volume Control Damper shall be made with 18 SWG Galvanized iron sheet metal construction painted with 2 coats of synthetic black paint. The Damper shall be flanged end type suitable to mount on flanged end duct. The depth of Damper shall be 150-160 mm. The Damper shall have adjustable locking arrangement from outside duct. Before positioning the Contractor will coordinate with the Client for keeping ceiling opening for maintenance and operation. Damper sizes and location shall be as per drawing. 9.0 Split Damper Split Damper shall be constructed with 24 BWG sheet steel wrapped over aerofoil type wooden frame. Damper shall be complete with adjustable locking arrangement and suitable to operate from outside of duct. Constructional details shall have to be shown in Shop drawing. 10.0 Expansion Tank Expansion Tank shall have to be constructed with double layered PVC tank equivalent to Gazi/Padma/Polycon. It shall be complete with water line with float valve assembly, quick fill arrangement, over flow line, drain line and chilled water system pipe connection line and inspection door. Capacity : 2500 liter 11.0 Mechanical Services Switch Board (MSSB) Electrical power distribution board shall be constructed with16 SWG sheet steel painted with epoxy paint and shall house MCCBs, MCBs, Busbars, Starters, Overload protector for motors, etc. All MCCBs, MCBs, shall be of brand DORMAN SMITH / SIEMENS /ABB or equivalent. Front panel shall be with Voltmeter, Ampere meter, phase indicators, Start stop button, etc. Other details shall be as per drawing and corresponding technical Specifications. kW rating mentioned are approximate. 15.0 Water Treatment Chemicals Bidders are requested to submit calculation of Chemical requirement from their respective water treatment service provider regarding chemical requirements on following basis:

Shop drawing must be coordinated with other services likely Electrical cabling, Light Fixtures, False Ceiling and Interior design. The work also includes: a). Show actual dimension of Equipment. b) Submit actual kW rating of all equipment c) Reconfirm Electrical cable sizing d) Reconfirm Ampere ratings of AC Panels' components. e) Submit Electrical connection diagram of AC Panels f) Submit General arrangement of AC Panels g) Submit Plinth drawing for Chillers, Pumps, Pipe supports h) Submit Electrical and P&I Diagram of Chiller i) Submit advance copy of Installation, Operation and maintenance manuals of Chillers, Pumps, FCUs, etc . Contractor should prepare this drawing at site coordinating with other services. 17.0 Tagging and Identification Tagging and identification of Chillers, Pumps, AHUs, Fans, Pipings, Cablings, etc. as per recommendation of the Consultant. One set in tracing paper, size A1 Two sets print out in A1 Paper Soft Copy in CD in AutoCAD Version 2004 Soft Copy in PDF Version 19.0 Testing, Commissioning and Balancing After proper installation and certification the system shall be tested, commissioned and balanced as per direction and recommendation by the Manufacturer as well as HVAC Designer. Contractor shall do (but not limited to) following works under this clause. a. Prepare and submit Commissioning protocol and get approval from Consultant. b. Carry out duct inspection c. Carry out pipe pressure testing d. Carry our Electrical Cabling testing e. Pipe flushing and charging of Treated Water f. Chemical cleaning of rust, etc. g. Testing of condensate water drainage slope with water h. Testing of AHU, Fans with Air and Water Balancing. i. Testing and Balancing of Pumps with Chilled water j. Cleaning of Y Strainers k. Commissioning of Chillers l. Safety protection and cutouts shall be tested individually m. Commissioning of Automatic Control system All testing and commissioning works must be documented in approved formats. All of these documents must be jointly witnessed and signed by the Client and Contractor's authorized Engineer. Documentation Compiling Documents with followings Name plate data of all equipments Recommended list of Spare parts. Submission of Operational and Maintenance manual for Chillers, Pumps, etc. Submission of Control schematic drawing, operation procedure and maintenance - trouble shooting manuals for Automatic Control systems. Compiling of certified Testing and Commissioning Documents. Compiling of certified As-built drawings. During operation and maintenance work, the Contractor shall have to depute one Electrical / Mechanical Engineer, one technician and one operator. All must have experience in this field for operation and maintenance of the system. During operation and maintenance if any defects is detected, it is to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost. Log book for one hourly record shall be maintained by the Contractor and shall be submitted to the Owner in every week. Total Tk. Note: Quantity mentioned are estimated. Actual payment shall be made based on work measurement.
