Course Overview
The Sketcher course is designed to teach you basic 3D wireframe elements and the CATIA V5 R20 Sketcher workbench. In addition to learning about reference features and geometry creation, youll also learn about sketch operations, constraints, and dimensions. Upon completion of this course, youll have a better understanding of how to use your sketches more effectively.

CATIA V5 R20 Assemblies


Course Overview
This course is intended to show users how to make smart assemblies and manage those using essential tools in CATIA. Users will learn methods of building assemblies that anticipate and minimize revision. Users will also learn how to control assemblies at the component level and the assembly level. Key topics include: assembly structure, save management, components, snap, smart move, constraints, catalogs, update analysis, assembly information, product load, splits, holes, pockets, assembly features, parameters, formulas, inter-part links, quick constraint, multi installation, pattern reuse, scenes, flexible subassembly, bill of material, and BOM.

Intended Audience
Designers, Design Engineers, or Manufacturing Engineers who need to understand how to implement, build, manage, and utilize virtual assemblies.

Course Prerequisites
CATIA V5 R20 New User Express class (or equivalent). For students with no prior assemblies experience, 40 hours of modeling experience is required.

Course Overview
The Drafting course teaches the essentials of the CATIA V5 Drafting workbench. You'll learn how to create drawings and views, and add dimensions and annotations. You'll also study geometry creation and modification, as well as dress-ups, borders, balloons, and customizations. Upon completion of this course, you'll be ready to create your own drawings using CATIA V5 R20.

Intended Audience
Designers, Design Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers (both new and current CATIA users) who need to understand how to create drawings using the CATIA Drafting workbench.

Course Prerequisites
