GENERAL NOTES & PRECAUTIONS for Safety Make sure to follow the following.
About the Proportional System
Please understand that we cannot be responsible for any accident, failure, etc. that may occur from modification of this product, use of non-genuine parts, natural disaster, or non-observance of the precautions described in this paragraph. Further, as for damages caused by an accident or failure, please understand that the things (such as airplanes, competitors products, fuel, etc.) except this product and the Companys genuine parts will not be covered under warranty. The use of radio wave required in this product is defined as follows in the Radio Law of Japan. When this product is used overseas, authorization by the law of the country will be required. When this product is used overseas for a purpose other than as a model, it may be subject to the restrictions in accordance with the Export Trade Control Order. In such a case, export permit under the Order is required. Basic Precautions for Safe Use of the 2.4GHz System (1) The 2.4GHz band is not a frequency exclusively for use with RC airplanes. This frequency band is in common use with the ISM (industry, science, and medical care) band which is widely used for short-distance transmission such as microwave ovens, wireless LAN, digital cordless phone, audio games, cellphone Bluetooth, and VICS. Therefore, steering response of the 2.4GHz system may go down in an urban area. Further, as it also is used for ham and local area radio communication for mobile identification, please pay attention to the possible influences by these. In the event of any adverse radio wave interference on an existing wireless station, immediately stop emitting radio wave and take the interference avoidance measures. (2) At a race track/airport, minimize use of a device that can affect the transmitter and be sure to confirm safety beforehand. Also, always follow instructions of the facility staff. (3) Within the same race track/airport, the number of 2.4GHz transceiver for RC airplanes should be limited to less than 15 units. Also please use a control board, etc. in the facility to show the number of 2.4GHz transmitters being used at one time. (4) If a vehicle is let go behind a building, a pylon, trees, etc. so that the radio-wave range is blocked, steering response may drop, even resulting in out-of-control. Always let it run or fly within a range that you can visually observe. (5) You can use only the transmitter for RC airplanes which has passed the Technical Regulation Conformity Certification Test based on the Radio Law and to which the authorization label stating an authorization number is attached in a clearly visible manner. Never peel off or stain the label. (6) Use of an RC airplane transmitter which is an imported product, etc. and is not provided with the above authorization label is a violation of the Radio Law and can be subject to penalty. (7) Japan Radio Control Safety Association has been carrying out awareness activities to increase of safe use of RC device. Be sure to use a proportional system attached with the authorization label which states the name of the association. The following symbols stated in this manual indicate the precautions regarding possible danger which may occur caused by improper handling. Be sure to strictly observe them as important safety instructions are contained. Danger level : Prohibited acts : Obligatory acts
Out-of-control and danger can be caused. DO NOT use the product on rainy days since it may cause malfunction if water gets inside the transmitter/receiver. If it should be used by necessity, make sure to take waterproof measures. Injury by heat generation, firing, or electric shock can occur. Never disassemble or modify this product. (In the case of an electrically-driven model,) the engine & the motor can start rotating at high speed, causing danger. When turning on the power switch, set the transmitter throttle stick to the lowest speed position (where the engine/motor rotation does not become high) and turn on the transmitter power switch and the receiver power switch in this order. For turning off power, turn off the receiver and the transmitter in this order. Injury can be caused. When adjusting the engine (motor), fully pay attention to power which comes from the rear side. DO NOT start the engine with the transmitter throttle at high speed position. This is very dangerous.

Failure can be caused. DO NOT use this module set combining with a competitors product (servo, gyroscope, etc.). Malfunction can be caused. As the electronic parts mounted on the transmitter/receiver are susceptible to impact, DO NOT apply strong impact or drop it down. Out-of-control and danger can be caused. When detecting degraded servo movement, immediately stop operating and check battery remaining amount, servo, etc. DO NOT use the product in the following places, as there is a risk of an out-of-control state or an accident: Transceiver interference exists. Passing nearby traffic of cars and motorbikes. Near a high-tension electric line, building, bank, or in a mountainous area etc. Near a FM/TV station, a radio transmitting station for ship radio. Near residences and buildings, and near people. A sudden malfunction may occur and dangerous. Even if the receiver, servo etc. goes under water and operates normally after it is fully dried, the servo may malfunction. In such case, DO NOT continue to use the product, and contact us for inspection regardless of the normal operation.
CAUTION
Prior to flying, check the following items for safety: Is there enough battery remained in the transmitter/receiver? (Is rechargeable battery fully charged?) Isnt there any fuel spillage on the receiver, servo, etc which was caused by leakage from the fuel tank? Is there enough fuel? Check that no linkage is in contact with the airplane body. It may cause vibration noise of the airplane. Also, conduct a vibration test by setting the engine (motor) to high while fixing the body and confirm that each blade moves for sure. In the case of the initial flight, avoid increasing the distance, choose a safe place, and perform flying practice in the vicinity for several minutes.
To prepare for unexpected problems, you are recommended to take out an RC airplane insurance. Before starting to use, make sure that all the parts are provided. Then, connect the switch harness and servo to the receiver, insert batteries into the transmitter/receiver. Turn on the transmitter/receiver and perform bind operation to confirm stability. If it does not operate, check the batteries. If a rechargeable battery is used for the first time after purchase or is used after being left unused for a long period, be sure to charge it with a battery charger before use. In the event of any missing parts, malfunction, etc, please contact the Service Section of the Company.
How to Handle
Abide by the following to prevent potential leakage, explosion, heat generation, and fire The battery charger should only be used with AC100V outlet in Japan. Always use the dedicated battery charger for charging. DO NOT use/charge with (+) or (-) set in an opposite direction. DO NOT place inside fire or heat. DO NOT connect (+) or (-) to an electric conductor including metals (wire etc.), carbon materials etc. DO NOT disassemble, remodel, or solder. It may cause vision loss if the liquid inside the battery gets into your eyes. Consult the doctor immediately after washing eyes with clean water, and DO NOT rub eye areas.
DO NOT scratch or tear off the insulating tube, the lead wire, and the connector. DO NOT use the battery if a scratch is left on the insulating tube, lead wire, and connector, or if the insulating is damaged. It may damage skin if leaked battery liquid stays on your skin or clothes. Wash away immediately with clean water. Out-of-control and danger can be caused. A pack of the rechargeable battery is composed of a combination of several numbers of batteries. Thus, confirm that all rechargeable batteries inside the pack are in normal state by using a battery checker etc. Note that the actual battery level of the rechargeable batteries can not be confirmed by testers such as a battery checker. Make sure to judge the state in a comprehensive way by using a battery checker, checking the recharging time, and operating time. DO NOT store the battery in a place with high temperature/humidity or dust. Store the battery out of reach of children. DO NOT charge battery in a place with low temperature (below zero degree Celsius). Dispose of the old battery according to the local disposal rule, and do not throw it away in garbage cans etc.

Features
This is a multifunctional 7-channel transmitter. A telemetry function is incorporated, which allows the engine rotation speed and receiver voltages to be confirmed using the transmitter during flight. Using the large and easy-to-view fully graphical LCD display and input keys that have outstanding operability, a computer system is utilized that is easy to understand and allows simple setting. The outstanding new 3-dimensional shape is ergonomically designed to fit snugly into your hands and allow superb operability. Advanced Digital Trim (ADT) is utilized for all the trimming. Because the sticks allow stick spring adjustment and throttle ratchet adjustment, each individual operator will be able to obtain their optimal operation sensation. All the data from 18 aircraft models can be stored in the memory. A trainer function is provided as standard. Model name and data copy functions are incorporated. It is possible to use exactly the same switch arrangements for controlling both airplanes and helicopters. <Airplanes> Support is provided for flaperons and delta wings. Further, in this situation aileron differential operation will be possible. V-tail airplanes are supported. <Helicopters> The throttle curve and pitch curve use a 5-point adjusting system, allowing smoother curve settings to be made. In addition, the operation has been made easier to understand through the use of graph displays.

Remove the crystal, the battery, and the mounting screws in the six locations marked by the arrows in the figure above, and remove the rear lid. (Because the rear lid also has a circuit board which is connected by lead wires, take care not to break these wires.) By adjusting each of the screws, operators can obtain their optimal strength of movement. When closing the rear lid after the adjustment, take care not to catch the lead wires in the lid.

When changing the battery, press this cover down to open it. When closing the rear cover, take care not to catch the lead wires between the cover and the case. Press the surplus lead wire into the space at the left side of the battery. If the battery cover is closed in the situation where the lead wires are on top of the battery, the lead wires may become damaged
Do not touch the printed circuit board for any reason. If you do, normal operations and maneuvering may become impossible due to electric shocks, uncontrolled microcomputer operation, or model data destruction.

At the time of purchase, the throttle stick (known below as the stick) is set to the ratchet type (mainly for use with airplanes) which has a clicking sensation. In the case where the operator prefers to change to a non-ratchet (no clicking sensation) type, it will be possible to realize a stick operation that has no clicking sensation by replacing the plate spring that is fixed by screws to the rear side of the stick with the plate spring (mainly for use with helicopters) that is stored together with it. In the situation where the rear lid is open, remove the two screws fixing the plate spring to the rear side of the stick base and replace this plate spring with the plate spring that is stored together with it. Take care not to use the transmitter while the screws are still loose, since there will be a danger that the screws will drop out.
During the replacement, remove both the fixing screw and the adjusting screw, and replace the plate spring. Be certain to firmly tighten the fixing screw. By fully tightening the adjusting screw once, then loosening it again and carrying out the adjustment, it will be possible to smoothly carry out the stick strength adjustment.
CAUTION
DANGER
Be certain to carry out confirmation of the Fail Safe operation. (Switch off the transmitter power one time and check whether or not the servo movements reach their correct positions.) At this time care will be required since there will be a danger that the propellers or rotors may suddenly rotate. Be absolutely certain not to cut or bend the antennas. Mount the receiver as shown in the figure, keeping the antennas in as straight a line as possible. In addition, mount antennas as far away from pieces of carbon or metal objects as possible (10mm or further away is recommended). All the extra antennas should be used without detaching them.
The bending of the coaxial cable parts should be made as gentle as possible. Keep the antenna parts straight

Before flying the aircraft, be certain to implement testing using the procedures described below. This transmitter incorporates a system for distance testing. By reducing the transmitter output using the following operation, it will be possible to test the distance range. 1. Turning on the power of both the transmitter and the receiver, confirm the proper operation. 2. Keeping the transmitter approximately 40m away from the aircraft body, reduce the transmission power using 30 Range Check. 3. While still in this mode, confirm the operation of the aircraft body. 4. Moving around the airplane, confirm that it can be operated from any direction.

CAUTION
Be absolutely certain not to set low power while flying the aircraft, since this may cause the aircraft body to become uncontrollable.
During maneuvering, the aircraft body will adopt all kinds of positions. Take care that the antenna directions are suitable for realizing the most certain and stable communications. Further, in order that each antenna can receive communications effectively, antennas should be separated by 30mm or more, and it is recommended that antennas should be set at right angles to each other.

Because the receivers are weak against vibration, shock, and water, anti-vibration and waterproofing countermeasures should be certainly carried out. If the receiver antennas are shortened, the receiving sensitivity will be reduced and there will be a danger of uncontrolled operation. Use the antennas stretched straight out without cutting or bending them. If a connector becomes detached due to vibration during flight, there will be a danger of uncontrolled operation. Firmly insert all the connectors as far as they will go. In the situation where relay connectors are used during mounting, ensure that the connectors are wrapped in rubber sponge and are secured. Absolutely do not carry out operations while connectors are hanging loosely. When mounting the switch harness to the aircraft body, take adequate care to insure that the stroke of the switch moves to its full extent. For the servos, insert absorber rubber into the lug part, then insert the eyelet and fix it with the screw. Carry out the neutral adjustment of the servos using the splines of the output axes. At this time, try inserting the cross type and round type horns shifted through 90 degrees and the single character type horns shifted through 180 degrees. It will be possible to find the exactly matched positions. Once the servo linkages have been finished, confirm that the servos operate smoothly without coming into contact with each other or the aircraft body.
CAUTION
Do not lubricate or use waterproof spray on the servos gear and motor.

The connector has been trimmed at the corners for prevention of incorrect connection of polarity and to enable smooth connection. At the insertion, it is recommended to match the colors of the wires.

CLEAR Key
While the input is effective when using both the input keys and the dial, a clicking sound is generated to confirm the input. In some cases only the clicking sound will be heard even though the displayed numerical values will not change, but this means that the changes are taking place in the part below the decimal point which is not displayed. The dial is utilized in addition to the input keys, and most of the inputs can be carried out using the dial. The dial is operated by turning it to the left and right, then pressing (clicking) it. In addition, the two operation types of [Item Selection] and [Numerical Value Adjustments] are switched each time the dial is pressed. In some places, such as the reverse switches, the settings are changed simply by pressing the dial. In addition, by using the dial to move the cursor to the Return Mark ( ) displayed at the top part of each function screen to change it to the inversed display then pressing the dial, the operation will exit from the function.
When pressed in the normal display, this changes to the function display of the function mode that was adjusted the last time adjustments were carried out. Conversely, pressing this returns to the normal display from each of the function displays.

In this transmitter, Advanced Digital Trim (known below as A.D.T.) is utilized for all of the trimming. Because the A.D.T. is present in each of the models and is automatically memorized, during model switching the models are switched and the memorized trim values of these models are automatically set. In the situation where A.D.T. is used, there will be no need to remain aware of the trim amounts for each model or to carry out readjustment of the values. Further, adjustment will be possible for four systems, in which each A.D.T. is different for each Flight Mode (Normal, Stunt 1, Stunt 2, and Hold) for each model. By adjusting the A.D.T. with the Flight Mode switches set to optional positions, only the trim amount of this corresponding mode will be adjusted. In addition, although it will be possible to adjust each of the values in each A.D.T. by tilting the trim levers left and right (up and down), in all cases there is an auto repeat function, center click function, and a direction recognition function. In the auto repeat function, if the trim lever is continually pressed over to the side that you wish to adjust, each of the values can be continuously increased or decreased using fast-forward. In the center click function, when the values pass through the center (neutral) position while the auto repeat function is operating, the clicking sound that is heard will change in tone and the increasing/decreasing in the auto repeat function will be temporarily halted, then the auto repeat function will be carried out again. This allows the operator to simply match the center (neutral) position if they stop pressing the trim lever while the auto repeat function (clicking sound) is temporarily halted. In the direction confirmation function, there will be a change in the tone of the clicking sound used for confirming the
input in the left and right directions when carrying out adjustment by tilting the trim levers in the right (up) and left (down) directions. This will also allow the operator to confirm the approximate position using the clicking sound when operating the trim levers without needing to look at each of the display screens. Further, in the situation where the left/right (up/down) values reach their maximum (minimum), there will be one slightly longer click in a different tone and then there will be no clicking sound, even if the trim lever is operated in this direction. This is provided to give notification while carrying out trim lever operation that the maximum (minimum) value has already been reached.
In the situation where the flap lever and the AUX2 lever located on the upper part of the transmitter front face have been operated, the trim amount of the flap lever and the AUX2 lever will be displayed for several seconds instead of the display of the elevator trim amount and throttle trim amount.

In the situation where the hovering pitch trim and the hovering throttle trim located on the upper part of the transmitter front face have been operated, the hovering pitch amount and the hovering throttle amount will be displayed for several seconds instead of the display of the elevator trim amount and throttle trim amount.

Function Mode
If the key is pressed in the normal display screen, the screen will change to the function mode. In this mode, the various functions can be selected by rotating the dial key, and setting can be carried out while viewing the servo operation. Inside the functions, if there is a need to switch channels or additional functions, the dial should be pressed. When changing the setting values, the dial should be turned to set the value. For the mixing amounts, even in the case where you wish to carry out the adjustment while flying the aircraft, it will be possible to fly the aircraft while it is still in this function mode. In addition, if the key is pressed in this mode, the screen will return to the normal display. For the methods of setting each function, please see each of the explanations described below.

System Mode
By switching on the transmitter power switch while pressing the key, the screen will change to the system setting listing mode. In this mode, the functions described below can be selected in order in the same way as in the function mode by rotating the dial. For the methods of setting each function, read each of the explanations described below. Take adequate care when carrying out the settings in this mode, because the transmitter basic settings are carried out even though radio waves are not emitted, By pressing the key while in this mode, the screen will return to the initial screen. Pressing the key again will return the screen to the normal display.

Listing Mode
By pressing the key in the normal display or the function mode, the screen will change to the function listing mode. Rotate the dial to select the function that you wish to set. Pressing the dial while the function is displayed allows the setting to be made. Further, by pressing the key in the initial screen of the system mode or during item setting, the screen will change to the system listing mode. For the methods of setting each function, read each of the explanations described below.

Increase or decrease the setting values First, rotate the dial to match the triangular arrow with the channel display part as shown in the above figure, and press the dial. Then rotate the dial to change the channel. The changing between position 0 and position 1 can be switched using each of the dual rate switches. Next, rotate the dial to match the triangular arrow with the D/R or EXP locations and press the dial. Then rotate the dial to increase or decrease the numerical values. In addition, the key will be effective while adjusting the setting values, so that it will be possible to carry out the clear operation. Situation where the exponential has been changed
This function uses each of the Dual Rate switches of the aileron, elevator, and rudder channels to carry out changeover of each channel rate. For each channel and each position, adjustment is possible over the ranges of the Dual Rate amount (0 to 125%), and Exponential (LIN (0%) to 100%). By combining with the exponential setting, it will be possible to carry out various settings independently for each. Exponential is a function that sets the movement around the neutral position to mild (plus direction) or quick (minus direction) without changing the maximum control surface angle, by linking the servo movement corresponding to the stick operation in a logarithmic curve. Further, the setting condition can be understood using the graph display.

REVERSE SW
This is a function that changes the servo operating direction. Setting of all channels is possible. The display of NORM indicates normal operation, while the REV. display indicates the reverse operation.
Setting Method
In the situation where the reverse switch settings have been changed in the condition where the Fail Safe has been set, for the reason that the Fail Safe operating position will not change, the operation will take place on the opposite side from the condition when it was set. If the reverse switch setting is carried out in the situation where the throttle channel settings have been set to the slowest throttle (the servo is on the left end when seen from the horn side), in the situation where the Fail Safe operates the servo will become fixed at the throttle high side.
Caution
Rotate the dial to match the arrow with the channel that you wish to set. In this condition, press the dial to match the direction (NORM or REV.) that is to be set. Note that pressing the key will return the switch to the NORM side.
In particular, in the situation where the throttle channel is set to the reverse side using the reverse switch setting, in the situation where the Fail Safe has operated the throttle will become set to the Full High side, which will be an extremely dangerous situation. After changing the settings on the transmitter, be certain to implement the Fail Safe settings (set the sticks to the positions that you wish to set them in and memorize the positions), and be sure to carry out confirmation of the operation (by switching off the transmitter power once and checking whether or not the servo movements realize the correct positions).

Sub Trim Amount (0 to 125)
This function is the supplementary trim of each servo connected to each channel. This should be used to make fine adjustments to the servo horn mounting angle. The variable range is a maximum of approximately 30. When at the maximum, the display will show 125. If you wish to move the angle approximately 5, this will correspond to 5/3012520, which means you should set the numerical value to around 20. However, if the angle is moved by too large an amount there will be an effect on the maximum control surface angle of the servo, so it is advised that the adjustments should be kept as small as possible.
Rotate the dial to match the arrow with the channel that you wish to set. By pressing the dial in this condition it will become possible to adjust the sub trim amount. Note that pressing the key will return the sub trim amount to 0.

This function is the left and right control surface angle adjustment of the servo operation (referenced to neutral) of each channel. Adjustment is possible over a range between 0 and 150% (0 to approximately 60) both to the left and right for each channel. The standard value is 100%, and this is the normal control surface angle.
Rotate the dial to match the arrow with the channel that you wish to set. (Because four channels are shown on one screen, there will be two screens.) Then tilt the stick or set the switch to the side of the corresponding channel that you wish to adjust to make the adjustment. In this condition, rotate the dial to adjust the control surface angle. Note that pressing the key will return the control surface angle amount to 100%.

This mixing is used when you wish to link the flaps when operating the elevator. By setting the mixing so that the flaps will lower when the elevator is raised (when the elevator is lifted up), it will be possible to increase the lift when

AILERUDD MIXING
This mixing makes rolling easier by using flaps as ailerons by mixing to the flaps following aileron operation. In the situation where you wish to reverse the mixing direction, increase the mixing amount in the minus direction.
Mixing Amount (125%) Current Transmitter Condition
This allows selection of the rudder linkage amount and selection of the switch that determines the ON/OFF of the rudder mixing. Rotating the dial will move the triangular arrow, so match the arrow beside RATE and press the dial. This will allow setting of the rudder linkage amount through adjusting by rotating the dial.

The display of the lever switch for switching ON/OFF the mixing function, and the position when it is set to ON, are as shown in the figure at upper left. Rotate the dial to match the triangular arrow beside the SW display and press the dial. Then rotate the dial to select the switch. Note that the condition of the corresponding switch is displayed at the top right of the screen.
FLAP SYSTEM
This function is a 3-position flap system with elevator compensation. In normal flap operation, there are two types of down flaps, for takeoff and landing. When FLAP MIX SW is set to LAND (the front side), flap down will be implemented. In order to negate the change in pitch that occurs due to the flap operation at this time, it is possible to link a previously set elevator movement amount with the flap operation. Note that in order to use this item, SYSTEM should be selected in the FLAP item in 41 Device Select (in the System Mode). In addition, when the auto landing function has been set, the auto landing operation will also be possible using the throttle stick.

The elevator and flap control surface angles are centered at 0% (neutral), and it is possible to set the movement amount in both the DN (Down) and UP (Up) directions. The variable amounts are each in the range of 0 to 125% for the flaps and 0 to 200 for the elevators in both directions. This is the servo movement angle, which has a range of approximately 30 for the elevators and approximately 60 for the flaps.

Rotate the dial to match the triangular arrow to the flap movement amount or elevator compensation amount, and then press the dial. Setting Method
Rotate the dial to match the triangular arrow in front of THRO of AUTO LAND. By pressing the dial in this condition it will be possible to switch from INH to a numerical value display and enable the landing operation to be linked to the throttle stick. Because the displayed numerical value will be divided into 100 portions of the stick movement, 50 will be the stick center. When auto landing has been set, if the flap mixing switch is set to MID or LAND (Center: 1 or in front: 2) and the throttle stick is in a position slower than the setting position, the position will become the values set in MID or LAND. In the situation where auto landing is not to be used, press the key to set this to INH.
As shown in the figure at right, when using flaperons or delta wing (elevons), a differential will be applied between the left and right aileron movements. This should be utilized for compensating the roll axis and for yawing compensation. It is possible to set the aileron differential amount by rotating the dial. Note that pressing the key will return the amount to 0% (NORMAL).

This transmitter incorporates six program mixing systems. Although there are six screens, they are explained together here since the operations of the MIX1-6 screens are basically common to each. The following screen shows the situation in the Mixing 1 screen. Because this is set to the INH display in the initial condition, it will be in the usage stopped condition.

Channel Setting
All of the program mixing can also be switched ON/OFF using the optional lever switches. The display of the lever switches that can be selected, and the positions when they are ON, are as shown in the figure above. In addition, pressing the key will return the switch to ON. In the situation where the ailerons, elevator, and rudder are selected in the master channel and D/R EXP setting is being carried out, the D/R EXP movement will also be included in the mixing. 1. This differential movement will be applied in the situation where AILE is selected as the slave channel and an option other than NORMAL is being used as the differential setting in the DELTA or FLAPERON wing types. 2. In the situation where FLAP or AUX2 is selected in the master channel and has been input or selected as INH, the master value will become the value set using the flap system or the AUX2 switch value. 1. Included mixing is the movement that includes the amounts applied to the master channel operation amount in other programming. About MIX1 to 4
Rotate the dial to position the triangular arrow in front of the numerical values, and move the master channel stick to the side that you wish to adjust. Next, rotate the dial to increase or decrease the mixing values on each side. Further, pressing the key will return the value to 0%. If you wish to reverse the mixing direction, increase the mixing amount in the minus direction. When mixing is not to be used, set both sides to 0%. It is possible to set an optional position on the master channel as the mixing reference point. For example, this can be used in situations where there is no neutral position such as on the throttle stick, where the mixing can be set to be applied taking a certain position as the reference. This determines an offset amount based on the center (neutral position) of each stick. To confirm the offset position, set to the mixing amount setting condition then move the stick and confirm the reference point position where the value changes between up and down. Note that pressing the key will return the value to 0.
FAIL SAFE
The transmitter incorporates a Hold function that maintains the conditions immediately before a loss of contact occurred, and a Fail Safe function in which servos which have been optionally set beforehand operate if the loss of contact continues for longer than a fixed time. To avoid extremely dangerous situations such as when the airplane crashes under full throttle, it is recommended that you use the Fail Safe as much as possible.

Since data transfer to the receivers is carried out automatically, there will be no need to set the receivers each time a flight is made. Of course, as soon as the cause of the loss of contact is eliminated, the connections will be restored immediately, and control will become possible again. This timer setting function is independent for each model. The time setting of the down timer can be set in 10-second units up to 59 minutes 50 seconds, and pressing the

THROTTLE CUT
This function allows the engine to be cut during idling without operating the throttle trim. This operation should be allocated to one of the lever switches located on the furthest inside at the left and right of the transmitter front face, and the trim position when the throttle is cut should be set. In the case where this function is not used, it should be set to INH.
In the situation where the functions are in the operating condition, this will be displayed as ON. In the situation where the function is set, the carburetor should also be set to fully closed during the period between pressing the switch and the ON display (while the function is starting up). At this time, take care that excessive force is not applied to the servos. Rotate the dial to set the switch items to the inversed display. RANGE CHECK
This function is used in pre-flight range testing. By moving the cursor to the NORMAL position and pressing the dial, LOW will be displayed and the transmitter will be in the low power mode where the transmission output is 1/100. In this condition, the control should be normal to 40 meter ground range. The transmission power will be returned to normal either by moving the cursor to the NORMAL position and pressing the dial, or by exiting from this setting.

This gives notification of reductions in the receiver voltage. By matching the cursor to RX ALARM and setting a numerical value by rotating the dial, an alarm will sound when the receiver voltage drops below the value that has been set. In the situation where an optional temperature sensor has been connected, this gives notification by an alarm when the set temperature value is exceeded. The setting temperature range is between 60 and 160C. IfINH is set, the alarm will not sound. This switches the temperature setting units. By matching the cursor and pressing the dial, it will be possible to switch alternately between C and F.

This function is for monitoring the servo movements of each channel on the transmitter display screen. The servo movement display is a bar display with a vertical line in the center marking the neutral position. This function is only displayed in the function mode when either the 2-servo or 3-servo specification has been selected in the system mode 44 Swash Type. This swash type selection is a function that allows the swash plate movement adjustment to be easily carried out in helicopters that incorporate CCPM systems. CCPM is a kind of pitch mixing in which the servos are directly linked to the swatch plate to realize mechanical movement of the pitch. Rotate the dial to match the triangular arrow with the channel that you wish to set as shown in the figure above, and then press the dial. This allows the mixing amount to be changed. Rotate the dial to carry out the adjustment. During adjustment of the setting amount, the key will become effective, and the clear operation will be possible. By pressing the key, the amount can be returned to +60%. Further, by matching the cursor with the EXP part and setting it to ACT, it will be possible to set the servo operation as an exponential curve. Because this curve allows the servo horn mechanical differential error to be limited by a certain amount, the horn movement comes closer to realizing a direct linkage.

1. First, it will be necessary to set all of the settings to their standard conditions. Depending on the situation, it may be necessary to implement a data reset. Further, the aileron and elevator trim and the hovering pitch trim should be set to neutral. 2. After selecting the type that matches the aircraft body using 44 Swash Type (System Mode), determine each of the servo movement directions using the reverse switches so that the pitch movements are normal. 3. After adjusting the sub trims so that each of the servo horns makes a right angle with the linkage when all of the servos have been set to the neutral position, set the linkages so that that the swash plate is horizontal. 4. Carry out the pitch operation (throttle operation), and then carry out fine adjustment of each of the movement amounts by implementing left and right control surface angle adjustment with the intention of compensating for the variation in each of the servo control surface angles in order to make the swash plate move horizontally. 5. Carry out aileron or elevator operation. In the situation where the movement is in the opposite direction, the corresponding mixing amount should be set in the minus direction in the swash mixing. 6. The necessary movement amounts corresponding to each stick movement should be adjusted using this mixing amount. Although the variable range is 125%, if the amount is too large the servo maximum control surface angle will be exceeded. Accordingly, if the movement amount is insufficient, adjust it using the servo horn hole position. After carrying out the above adjustments, implement the pitch curve and dual rate settings.

THROTTLE HOLD
By setting this function to active, it will be possible to use the switch that is initially set as the left shoulder RUDD D/R as the Throttle Hold switch, and auto rotation can be carried out. In addition, when Throttle Hold is operating, it will be possible to set an independent optional pitch curve. When INH is displayed, this function will be inhibited (prohibited condition), and when you wish to use the function it will be necessary to set it to the active condition by pressing the dial.

It is possible to set the value during the Hold operation and to select the Hold switch. Rotate the dial to move the triangular arrow to beside HOLD POS, and press the dial. Set the Hold value by rotating the dial. Note that pressing the key can return this item to INH. The display of the lever switch for switching ON/OFF the mixing function, and the position when it is set to ON, are as shown in the figure at upper left. Rotate the dial to match the triangular arrow beside the SW display and press the dial. Then rotate the dial to select the switch. Note that the condition of the corresponding switch is displayed at the top right of the screen. In the situation where another function is allocated to the operation switch, both functions will operate simultaneously, so check that there are no multiple allocations.

THROTTLE CURVE
Because this transmitter utilizes a 5-point adjusting system for the throttle curve and pitch curve settings, it will be possible to freely carry out adjustment of the five points to create throttle curves and pitch curves that realize optimum flight conditions. The digital display using figures indicates the positions moved by each of the servo horns for each point (L, 1, 2, 3, H). Further, each point (L, 1, 2, 3, H) is also the position of each control surface of the throttle stick. Please refer to Graph 1. For example, point 2 is the center of the throttle stick. The amount by which the servo will move in relation to this point is shown in the digital display below. If the display is 50% the movement will be a straight line, while if it is set to 30% the movement will be exponential. Further, even if point 2 is set to 50%, if the position of H is 80%, conversely the movement will become anti-logarithmic.

In addition, similarly if the L point is 20%, the lower part will become logarithmic. Further, the L point can also be moved to the L point minus side by the throttle trim. In this way, it will be possible to create a variety of curves depending on the settings of each of the point numerical values. If L is set to 0% and H to 100%, according to the displayed numerical values of intermediate points 1 and 3, it will be possible to intuitively read the curve. This is a large merit. Note that the fact it will be possible to adjust each of the Flight Mode switch positions NORM, ST-1, and ST-2 is also a large merit.
Note: By setting the high side and low side both to the same values so that the throttle control surface adjustment amount becomes a straight line movement when seen from the center, and then carrying out fine adjustment using the linkages and sub trim in order to achieve the full stroke, the setting will become easier to understand.
Here, there are three screens for each Flight Mode, but because the setting methods are the same they are explained all together. The display in the figure at left shows the NORM (normal) position.

The curves are independent for each system, and it is possible to select sequential lines or curves. When EXP is set to ON, the curve will become an exponential curve in which the changes in the output values in the vicinity of each point will be smoothed. By rotating the dial to move between the points, the display will become EXP and the operation can be selected. By pressing the dial it will be possible to select ON/OFF. While in this condition, it will be possible to use the key to preset the setting to OFF.

In the initial values, the intermediate points 1 and 3 in all the flight modes are set to inhibit (INH), so that the operation is as shown in Graph 1. Note that intermediate points 1 and 3 can be freely set to the inhibit (INH) or active (output value displayed) condition. To set the intermediate point 1 to active in this condition, rotate the dial to select point 1, then press the dial to set the numerical value display condition (active). To set the point to INH, press the key. When intermediate points 1 and 3 have been changed from INH to the active condition, the values in the situation where these points are linked with the points above and below in a straight line condition will be automatically displayed as the output values. Further, if all of the intermediate points are set to active, the initial values will become as shown in Graph 2. In this condition the points will be linked by straight lines. Although it will be possible to freely set these to curves, the following points should be taken into consideration when implementing these settings. Make sure you understand the hovering throttle trim assignation and throttle trim assignation while carrying out the adjustment. Take care to note that the graph display values include the hovering throttle trim and the throttle trim operations. Further, carry out the curve settings to match the purpose of each flight, including consideration of whether or not intermediate points 1 and 3 are to be set and of the helicopter setting conditions.

The throttle trim operates separately in each mode, and the point L output can be increased or decreased as shown in the graph. In addition, this trim operation exerts an influence on the operations up to the next point as shown in Graph 1 and Graph 2. The hovering throttle trim operation is in the active condition, in which it is possible to increase or decrease the intermediate point outputs. As shown in Graph 2, in the situation where intermediate points 1 and 3 are active, the movements between intermediate points 1 to 3 will be parallel, and an identical raising and lowering response will be maintained by this trim operation without changing the curve gradient.

Because the operation method is based on the method used for the throttle curve described in the previous section, this operation should be carried out after gaining an understanding of the throttle curve setting method. Differences between the methods will relate to the external trims and systems. That is, in the pitch curve system there are four independent systems consisting of NORM, ST-1, ST-2, and HOLD (during Throttle Hold) which can be set, and the points in these systems comprise the five points L, 1, 2, 3, and H as in the throttle curve, and all these systems are independent. Note that in the situation when setting the pitch curve for Throttle Hold, it will be necessary for the Throttle Hold function to be active. If this is set to inhibit, use will not be possible.
Flight Mode Switch Position
To set HOLD so that it can be used, first carry out the settings using 21 Throttle Hold. By doing this, the HOLD item will be added, and it will become possible to set the curve during auto rotation. Note that in this situation, the Hold switch will be given prioritized operation for whichever of the Flight Mode switches is set. Giving adequate consideration to the settings given by the helicopter manufacturer, carry out the curve settings for each position to match the purpose. Similarly to the throttle curve, the necessary pitch full stroke is divided into 100 portions and direct viewing is possible. In this function, because the setting methods of the total four screens consisting of the three screens of each Flight Mode and the Hold setting screen during Throttle Hold setting will be the same, they are described all together. The display shown in the figure at left shows the NORM (Normal) position display.

In the throttle curve examples in the figures above, the reason why Point L rises above the high side of Point 1 is as follows. If the pitch curve is set to zero pitch at Point 1, the pitch at the L point will increase as a reverse pitch. For this reason, loading will be applied. Because it will be necessary not to greatly change the rotation speed even at this time, this is the reason why the throttle will have to be increased.

The revolution mixing in this transmitter is based on the hovering points (output values from the stick center position on the pitch curve), and it is possible to set separate mixing amounts in each of the up and down directions. In addition, because these transmitter settings use the Flight Mode switch positions 1 and 2 (center and forward sides) for stunt flying, each of the up and down mixing amounts can be set as different systems in normal and stunt flying. Note that after the settings have been made, even if the pitch curves are changed the settings will change in response, and readjustment will not be necessary. Further, when Throttle Hold is applied, the revolution mixing will become OFF.

NOTE: In the situation where a tail lock (heading lock) gyro is being used, set it to not be used (Make all settings 0%).
This mixing is pitchrudder mixing, and is used to compensate for the half torque caused by the changes in pitch of the main rotor. The R and L which appears in front of the percentage display indicates the rotor rotating direction. When seen from above, R is a clockwise rotation while L is an anticlockwise rotation. In normal flying, values of around 5% should be preset in both the up and down directions, and fine adjustment should be carried out in actual flight. During overflying in stunt flying, it can be expected that the mixing amounts should be around half those in normal flying. In addition, in situations where more advanced revolution mixing is required, program mixing should be utilized.

GYRO SENSING
For the gyro sensitivity switching, manual switching can be carried out using the RUDD D/R switch of the GEAR channel or AUX2 channel, or automatic switching can be carried out in each Flight Mode. Note that when this function is set to active, the output of the channel that has been set will be exclusively used with the gyro, and the channel output will become the setting value here. To set this item, it will be necessary for either GEAR or AUX2 to be set to GYRO SYS in 41 . Device Select. In the situation where neither has been selected, this item will not be displayed. In the initial setting, this is allocated to the GEAR channel. The following screen shows the situation during manual switching (when switching is carried out using the RUDD D/R switch).

During the auto sensitivity switching (in AUTO), it will be possible to select a sensitivity of either 0 or 1 for the display in each flight condition. Further, the sensitivity during the Throttle Hold condition can also be selected in this display after 21 Throttle Hold has been set to active.

Connect the white connector to GEAR or AUX2 of the receiver. The sensitivity setting can be adjusted over the range of 0 to 100% for each. For more details, please read the gyroscope operation manual.
PROGRAM MIXING1~3
This transmitter incorporates three program mixing systems. Although there are three screens, they are explained together here since the operations of the MIX1-3 screens are basically common to each. The following screen shows the situation in the Mixing 1 screen. Because this is set to the INH display in the initial condition, it will be in an inhibited on non useable condition. By rotating the dial it will be possible to start using the mixing. On the screen, the channel setting, offset setting, mixing amount setting, and the mixing switch selection can be set using a single screen. Note that because there are some small differences in the functions depending on the mixing system, the functions should be used after clearly understanding the function details.

Channel Setting
All of the program mixing can also be switched ON/OFF using the optional lever switches. The display of the lever switches that can be selected, and the positions when they are ON, are as shown in the figure above. In addition, pressing the will return the switch to ON.
Rotate the dial to position the triangular arrow in front of the numerical values, and move the master channel stick to the side that you wish to adjust. Next, rotate the dial to increase or decrease the mixing values on each side. Further, pressing the key will return the value to 0%. If you wish to reverse the mixing direction, increase the mixing amount in the minus direction. When mixing is not to be used, set both sides to 0%. It is possible to set an optional position on the master channel as the mixing reference point. For example, this can be used in situations where there is no neutral position such as on the throttle stick, where the mixing can be set to be applied taking a certain position as the reference. This determines an offset amount based on the center (neutral position) of each stick. To confirm the offset position, set to the mixing amount setting condition then move the stick and confirm the reference point position where the value changes between up and down. Note that pressing the key will return the value to 0.
In the situation where the ailerons, elevators, and rudders are selected in the master channel and D/R or EXP are being set, the mixing will also include the D/R or EXP operation. In the situation where THRO has been selected in the master channel using MIX1 and 2, the throttle trim amounts and throttle curve amounts including the Throttle Hold will affect the slave channel. During Throttle Hold, MIX3 will be the throttle stick operation amount only. In the situation where PIT (pitch) has been selected in the master channel, MIX1 will consist only of the throttle (pitch) stick operation amount, while MIX2 and 3 will include the pitch curve amounts and trim amounts.
FAIL SAFE
The transmitter incorporates a Hold function that maintains the conditions immediately before a loss of contact occurred, and a Fail Safe function in which servos which have been optionally set beforehand operate if the loss of contact continues for longer than a fixed time. To avoid extremely dangerous situations such as when the airplane crashes under full throttle, it is recommended that you use the Fail Safe as much as possible.

Since data transfer to the receivers is carried out automatically, there will be no need to set the receivers each time a flight is made. Of course, as soon as the cause of the loss of contact is eliminated, the connections will be restored immediately, and control will become possible again. Note that during loss of contact, the servos will maintain the Hold condition for the time period (0.5 sec) until the Fail Safe operation begins. In the transmitter initial settings, All channels are set to the Hold side.In the transmitter initial settings, the throttle channel is set to the Hold side. Accordingly, if a loss of contact during operation and the Fail Safe is enabled, the throttle channel will be hold as default.It makes the Aircraft/Helicopter into an extremely dangerous situation.
When carrying out the transmitter settings, be certain to implement the Fail Safe settings lastly (match the stick with the position to be set and press the memory key), and be sure to carry out confirmation of the operation(Switch off the transmitter power one time, and confirm whether the servo movements reach their correct position.)
TIMER
This timer setting function is independent for each model. The time setting of the down timer can be set in 10-second units up to 59 minutes 50 seconds, and pressing the

THROTTLE CUT
This function allows the engine to be cut during idling without operating the throttle trim. This operation should be allocated to one of the lever switches located on the furthest inside at the left and right of the transmitter front face, and the trim position when the throttle is cut should be set. In the case where this function is not used, it should be set to INH.

RANGE CHECK
This function is used in pre-flight range testing.
