INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS APPEARING FOR ONLINE TEST GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. You are required to sign in the space provided in the Admit Card only in the presence of the invigilator. 2. No request for change in date / time / centre / city of Online Test w ill be entertained. 3. Male applicants w ho have availed exemption for application fee payment, must posses a valid certificate in support of such exemption for verification during the Online Test for the category applied. 4. You w ill not be permitted for the Online Test w ithout the admit card. You may also bring any one of the follow ing photo ID proof like College ID card / PAN card / Driving license / Voter ID / Passport in original for identity verification, if required. 5. You are not permitted to use calculators, w atch having calculator, slide rulers, cell phones, pagers or any other gadgets during the Online Test. Such gadgets w ill not be allow ed in the room for Online Test. 6. You are prohibited from bringing any book or portion thereof or any manuscript to Online Test. Communication w ith other applicants or w ith any person outside the Online Test room or copying from each other is strictly prohibited. 7. Your candidature is provisional and is subject to satisfying all the criteria prescribed for the post and verification of all your original certificates at the time of interview . 8. Any applicant reporting late w ill not be permitted to appear for the Online Test.

ONLINE TEST
1. The Online Test w ill be of 120 minutes duration w ith 100 questions to be answ ered. The question paper w ill be in English language. 2. The Online Test w ill be on computer. Applicants should have basic know ledge in usage of keyboard and mouse. 3. Applicants are advised not to paste their photograph on admit card. Any applicant having admit card w ith photograph pasted on it WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to appear in the online test. 4. No separate (printed) question booklet / answ er sheet w ill be issued. Applicants w ill be issued w ith w orking sheet for any manual calculations / w orking if required. The w orking sheets must be returned on completion of test. 5. In the Online Test applicants have the option to brow se the question paper. There w ill be four options for each question. Applicant can select the right answ er by clicking on the appropriate option using the mouse. 6. Applicant w ill have the option to change / alter / erase the answ er of any question. Once the test is completed answ ers cannot be altered. Please note: Correct answ er w ill be aw arded 3 marks.Every w rong answ er w ill attract m inus 1 m ark. 7. Applicants can mark any question for review ing later in the test. All questions for w hich the applicant has answ ered w ill be taken as the final answ er at the end of the test, even though the question may have been marked for review . 8. There is a demo / sample of the test to help applicants to familiarize themselves w ith the Online Test.
