1.Introduction
GSM E1 Channel Bank(SCG-60) is the newest product after our Digital Mobile Trunk(DMT). Each SCG-60 system consists 2 sets of Channel Bank. Channel Bank connects to E1 PRI of Exchange or VoIP Trunk Gateway. The 30 PRI channels are individually connected to 30 ports of GSM channel, and is a perfect transform device between digital circuits to GSM channels. SCG-60 can provide Call Detail Record (CDR) for traffic and billing management. SCG-60 system can be configured and queried through web page by remote console, which includes the network IP setting, password validation, call detail record, and monitoring the channel status, etc.

2.System Configuration Diagram

SCG-60 consists 2 sets of Channel Bank. One set of Channel Bank connects to one ISDN E1 PRI. When an incoming call received from the E1 channel, the MCU will retrieve the called number and dial out the number from the corresponding GSM channel. These two channels are connected so that this call has been conducted into the GSM channel. The incoming call from the GSM channel will be treated in the same way.

SCG-60 dimensions: 19" standard cabinet, Height 4U, Depth 42CM. It consists 2 sets of channel bank, one set of channel bank consists 5 x GSM6 and 1 x Trunk MCU. GSM : provides 6 GSM ports per card. 4. Device List & Installation

4.1. Device List

4.2. Installation
(1) Check if all the parts are included. (2) Inside the GSM6 card, there are 6 GSM SIM card holders. Put SIM cards in the corresponding position.

(3) Lock up all the antennas in the front of the GSM6 card. (There are 30 antennas in the antenna box for 5 pieces of GSM6 card)

Total 30 antennas (4) Connect the E1/PRI cable for the Trunk/MCU card. (5) Connect the network cable for the Trunk/MCU card. The default IP address is 192.168.0.107. You can change the IP address afterwards.

(6) Switch the power on.

5. Web Page Setting

The supervisor can setup the system parameters or view the CDR by remotely login in the web page of the SCG-60. The default IP address is 192.168.0.107. After the supervisor connect to the web page, he/she can change the IP address in Network setting page(see 4.4 Network setting). If you purchase two sets E1, you have to modify one of the IP address to avoid conflict between these two MCU cards.

5.1 System Parameter Setting

5.1.1 PC Time Synchronize the time of SCG-60 with the PC

5.1.2 System Setup (1) PRI ModeSetup the PRI mode for User(TE)/Network(NT) mode

(2) Hide the Caller ID : Hide or show the caller ID when dial out from the GSM module

(3) Option for line is not ready : setup the behavior when the corresponding outgoing channel is not ready. The option can be 1) Automatically hang up the call by the system, or 2) Wait till the incoming call hangs up.
