Purpose
Use this procedure to turn off printing of cover pages (SAP Cover Page and Operating System Cover Page) and summary pages (ALV Statistics) in IRIS.

These steps may be followed in most report/query transactions.

Helpful Hints
When changing the print settings, you must click (Execute) and make the changes from the report results screen. If you attempt to change the print settings by clicking Print from the selection screen, all of the print settings that you need will not be available.

Procedure

The steps to turn off the printing of cover and summary pages can be done in most query/report transactions. Start the transaction of choice using the menu path or transaction code. Enter the selection criteria and execute the transaction. The FMRP_RFFMEP1AX All Postings transaction is used as an example in this document. The report results screen is displayed below.

Click (Print) from the report results screen. The Print ALV List window will appear, as shown below.
When changing the print settings, you must execute the report and make the changes from the report results screen. If you attempt to change the print settings by clicking Print from the selection screen, all of the print settings that you need will not be available.

Note: This window title may be different (i.e. Print Screen List) depending on which transaction you are in.

To change the printing properties for this report or all reports, click Request Attributes window will appear, as shown below.

This document demonstrates how to change three settings so that the cover/summary pages do not print. Follow the steps for the settings you want to change. If you want to avoid printing the SAP Cover Page Operating System Cover Page ALV Statistics Go To Step 7 Step 8 Step 9

This section details the steps needed to avoid printing the SAP Cover Page.

In the Field name: box, click to expand the field name list and choose SAP Cover Page. The Maintain Settings window now displays SAP Cover Page in the Field name: box, as shown below.

On the Field default value: line, click (Change). A window with the SAP Cover Sheet setting will appear, as shown below.

In the SAP Cover Sheet box, click to expand the field name list and choose Do not Print. The window below now displays Do not Print in the SAP Cover Sheet box, as shown below.

Click (Continue). Do not Print is now displayed to the right of the Field default value: line, as shown below.

In the Validity section, verify that is selected. This is the default setting. This choice will apply this setting to all reports.

Click to apply the setting. The field you changed, SAP Cover page, should now appear in the table below the Copy settings button, as shown below.

In the Field name: box, click to expand the field name list and choose Operating System Cover Page. The Maintain Settings window now displays Operating System Cover Page in the Field name: box, as shown below.

On the Field default value: line, click (Change). A window with the OS Cover Sheet setting appears, as shown below.

In the OS Cover Sheet box, click to expand the field name list and choose Do not Print. The window below now displays Do not Print in the SAP Cover Sheet box, as shown below.

Click (Continue). Do not Print is now displayed to the right of the Field default value: line, as shown below.

Click to apply this setting. The field you changed, OS Cover page, should now appear in the table below the Copy settings button, as shown below.
