Multiple tornados touched down in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. The extent of the damage is still unclear, but it was an afternoon of chaos for many in Dallas and the surrounding communities. Several officers sighted tornados throughout the city from the southern portion all the way up which to the Dallas North Tollway and Trinity Mills Road.

Third Watch Central Officer Tim Cordova, blocks off two lanes of traffic northbound 45 while officers work a single vehicle traffic accident. Cordova took this picture of downtown Dallas after the storms had passed. Officers were dispatched to approximately 65 accidents from 1:30pm8:00pm during the storms.

First time half Leo V. Chaney,marathoners were Anita Stacy, Jovannie Whitten, John Airaghi, and Moses Juarez. Jr., as a way ofVeteran half marathoners from the department who ran this race included Lori Rangel, sharing his Eduardo Lopez, Deborah Joseph and Irene Arista. For Airaghi, not only was this his districts distinct half marathon, this was the first official race he has ever run. When he turned 50, first character whilehe decided he needed to run 6 miles. He finished running that distance and while also promotingtalking about it one day at work, Rangel convinced him to run a half marathon. At mile a love for reading during the race, he doubted he could finish it. He began thinking about Larry 11 among all ages. Barreraz and Carmen Ortega and all that they had been through in their struggle with
cancer and this motivated him to cross the finish line. Juarez also had a hard time at mile 11, but he too, managed to finish the race. He might even one day run another half marathon.
