FLUOROCARBON (FKMViton) An excellent elastomer for use in high temperature Temperature Range (dry heat) applications. ETHYLENE-PROPYLENE (EPDM) Ethylene-propylene compounds are used Temperature Range (dry heat) frequently to seal in brake systems, and for sealing low high hot water and steam. Ethylene propylene -40 F 302 F compounds have good resistance to mild acids, -40 C 150 C detergents, alkalis, silicone oils and greases, ketones, and alcohols. POLYURETHANE (AU) (EU) Millable polyurethane exhibits excellent abrasion Temperature Range (dry heat) resistance and tensile strength as compared to other low high elastomers providing superior performance in -22 F 230 F hydraulic applications with high pressures, -30 C 110 C abrasive contamination and shock loads.
