Selection Process

Number of Seats Selection Process Eligibility Fee Structure Candidates for admission will be selected through a process of an Entrance Program Structure Test followed by an interview.

Application

Procedure The Entrance Test will be of one hour duration. The Entrance Test will Address for assess the candidates understanding in a number of areas. The areas Correspondence covered are:

The format of the Entrance Test is analytical, with multiple choice answers. Wrong answers will be penalized. The short listed candidates out of the Entrance Test will be called for an interview in the DA-IICT, Gandhinagar. Final merit list for admission will

be prepared after the completion of interview process. The admit card for the Entrance Test will be sent to the candidates by post by 25 May 2012. Eligibility

A science / engineering graduate preferably in Agriculture & Allied Sciences / Agriculture Engineering / Bio-Sciences and Engineering / Fisheries / Forestry / Management Sciences / Environmental Sciences disciplines / Computer Applications / Computer Science or Engineering / Information Science or Technology and allied

A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point average in the qualifying degree is required for eligibility.

The candidates must possess a recognized degree with three years of education after 10+2.

The decision of the concerned authorities of DA-IICT regarding eligibility of any candidate shall be final.

Fee Structure Tuition fee Registration Fee Caution Deposit Rs. 20,000 per Semester Rs. 2,500 per Semester Rs. 5,000 (Refundable at the end of the program)

At the time of admission an amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rs. 20,000/- towards

Tuition Fee for the First Semester and Rs. 5,000/- towards Caution Deposit) is to be paid by the candidates through a bank draft drawn in favour of DA-IICT", payable at Ahmedabad. Subsequently, fees are charged semester-wise, at the time of registration of each semester. The Institute reserves the right to revise the fee and payment structure.

Program Structure The program requires every student to take six courses per semester. In addition the students are expected to undergo a summer internship of four weeks at the end of the second semester and a project of a specified topic in their fourth semester. more...
