Read the text carefully Stress Release When I feel so stressed up that I could chew my fingernails off, I breathe in deeply and read something a teenage magazine, a newspaper article, funny e-mails whatever! I often have internal negative dialogues, such as I cant do this! or Im not good enough or if Im able to focus my mind on something else, like reading for instance, my brain immediately switches off my internal worries and thats great. Janice, South Africa I practice yoga which is an ancient spiritual practice, working on body, mind and breath to bring them into harmonious union with each other. Yoga is the best thing there is if you want total relaxation! When Im feeling edgy, I simply lie on my back, with the neck lengthened and the arms and legs extended away from the body and the eyes closed. The breathing flows gently into and out of my body and any mental or physical tension is completely released. Simon, Scotland Im into snowboarding in a big way. I live in a small village near St. Moritz, a famous ski resort in Switzerland and started snowboarding when I was only 5 years old. Now Im 14 and whenever I feel down or completely tense, I put on my ski suit, grab my snowboard and here I go!
