PARTNER WITH US ON OUR ADVENTURE TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC SUMMER 2012

Next Step in the Journey

Dear Friends and Family, We are so excited about the amazing things God has been showing us since we returned from our three-week trip to the Czech Republic last summer. Throughout our time there, we had the opportunity to see how we would lead and minister together as a coupleand this ignited a passion in our hearts to pursue serving the Czech youth as full-time missionaries. This summer is our next step in the journey! We have been invited by the mission board Josiah Venture to lead a team of summer interns, help lead and facilitate three English Camps throughout the country, as well as spend time with Czech youth groups and visit local schools. English Camps are a great evangelistic tool for reaching Czech students. It will be our privilege to spend time with 60 Czech students, teach them English, build relationships, and share the Gospel. We will also assist in training Czech youth leaders and empower them to impact their local communities with the Word of God.
We will be in the Czech Republic May 22 through August 17. June: We will be training and preparing for English camps, building team community, and meeting the Czech groups we will work alongside. July: This marks the beginning of the three camp terms. Each term lasts about two weeks and includes training, one week of camp, and follow-up with students.

Random Fact: This will be Jerrys 6th time going to the Czech Republic & Melissas 2nd. Jerry has also led an intern team for two summers.

How Can You Be Involved?

We invite you to be a part of what God is doing in Eastern Europe! Pray for us as we prepare to lead this summer, and for guidance regarding our future involvement with Josiah Venture. Pray for our intern team members, as they prepare and are on the field. Pray for the Czech leadership, that they will boldly speak the name of Jesus. Pray for the Czech youth, that their hearts will be softened to the Gospel. Prayerfully consider supporting us financially.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT Please pray that God will supply the funds for our 11 weeks in the Czech Republic. Our total cost for the trip will be $8,400. This includes airfare, travel, and living expenses.
