Merit The criteria for a Pass grade have been met. Additionally, the student has been able to analyse the knowledge gained and evaluate the concepts in order to address the issues in the assignment. Use a range of methods and techniques to collect, analyse and produce information/data. Apply and analyse detailed knowledge and skills, using relevant theories and techniques. Coherently present and communicate work using technical language accurately. Distinction The criteria for both a Pass and a Merit grade have been met. The student is confident with the subject matter to the extent that he/she is able to evaluate and propose possible alternative solutions, develop new ideas or models, and/or make additional recommendations.
