TRUSS ASSEMBLY
Screwed Apex plate

Bolted Apex plate

Bolted Apex & Knee plates overlap each other and bolt together on the center in the same hole.

Place truss sections centered into apex plates and screw or bolt through holes provided. Follow engineering drawing all throughout construction for all sizes and specifications, also retain bill of materials supplied with kit for reference.

After assembling first truss, lay others on top and use as template so all end up the same.

Roller Door

BENDING THE SHEETS ON CORNERS


On a continuous wall where sheets do not meet, score right through the sheet for a neat cut and underlap

START HERE Tuck sheet behind lip of portal & pop rivet

Score through half the sheet and bend

Sheet bent around the corner on the crest

Lay sheet on a board and run scoring knife along a straight edge to cut through half the sheet for bending or almost through to cut sheet. ( to cut sheet through just bend back and fourth )

1. Bend end of roof sheets 2. Screw roof sheets to top hats except at ridge 3. Position ridge capping on ridge line 4. Scribe crest of roof sheeting on ridging and cut with tin snips to allow ridging to sit in pan of roof sheeting 5. Screw ridge with 12 x 45 tek through crest of sheeting into top hat batten A piece of 75 x 30 timber with a saw cut in the end will do as a pan bending tool

Bend roof sheeting pan upwards to prevent water blowing under ridge and into shed.
