Design
Straight-way globe valve with slanted seat and vertical bonnet Slanted seat hydraulics Short face-to-face length EN 558-1/14 (previously: DIN 3202/F4) Single-piece pressure-retaining body Non-rising handwheel Position indicator outside insulation Non-rotating stem with protected outside screw Maintenance-free stem seal with EPDM profile Compact throttling valve plug with EPDM coating as soft main and back seat Free from asbestos, PCB and CFC Corrosion protection: electrostatic plastic coating (EKB) inside and outside anthracite grey The valves meet the safety requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED) of annex I for fluids in group 2.
For heating systems up to 120 C we recommend BOA-CompactR in standard design, type series booklet 7112.1-10 For hydraulic balancing we recommend our BOA-ControlR IMS control valve with integrated sensor for flow rate and temperature measurement, and our BOATRONICR M measuring computer as described in type series booklet 7128.1 For handling fluids containing mineral oil, we recommend to use BOAR-H shut-off valves as per type series booklet 7150.1-10 and chemical resistance chart 7150.2-10 Flow characteristics 7112.41 Operating instructions 0570.8 Resistance chart 7112.2 DIN-DVGW-approved for water DN 15--DN 100 to DIN 3546-1: NV-6150BQ0465 Wetted elastomers and plastic components and the body coating (EKB) correspond to the KTW recommendations of the German Federal Health Office If BOA-CompactR with electrostatic plastic coating is used for low-temperature fluids, please note section 5.1 of Operating Instructions 0570.8 for details on insulation.
