Ava|ab|e now are the PMvson 2gee ready wre|ess montorng devces and 2gee

ready |oca| hub for the automotve and petrochemca| sectors. ased around the new
powerfu| Jennc JN5121 mcrocontro||er the hub can be connected to exstng
te|ematcs unts wth contro|/comms va sera| or added to PMvson's atrak battery
powered trackng product.
1he sensor tag s extreme|y |ow power and runs entre|y on batteres, t can |ast for upto
3 years on 4 standard AA types. 1he tag s a|so very sma|| n sze - no bgger than a 2
pound con.
1he sensor has a range of >100M n free ar and >60M n an enc|osed space. 1he stan-
dard unt measures temperature to an accuracy of 0.2U, each tag and hub has 4 mu|-
tfuncton dgta| / ana|ogue |nes p|us access to a 5PI bus whch are expandab|e so that
sensors measurng for examp|e U02, U0, A|coho|, Pumdty can be used, n fact the tag
can montor wre|ess|y any substance for whch a sensor exsts!
Many perphera|s can be used wth a sng|e Pub ut|sng mesh, star or pont to pont
networks wthn envronments such as tra|ers, offce bu|dngs, shps and ndustra|
comp|exes. App|catons nc|ude remote montorng (and contro|) of , temperature, f|ud
|eve|s, noxous gases, a|coho| and wth our U02 sensor detecton of stowaways. Assets
and stock can a|so be montored for examp|e n contaner bases and carports.

About ZigBee
2gee's name comes from the zgzag dance that bees use to communcate the |ocaton
of a po||en source. In a 2gee network, messages fnd ther way across nodes to a
destnaton the way data traverses the Internet. Lach nsta||aton requres a network
coordnator to act as the host. ILLL 802.15.4/2gee s ntended as a specfcaton for
|ow-powered networks for such uses as wre|ess montorng and contro|, securty, moton
detecton, temperature and basc communcatons.
A 2gee network may have as many as 65,536 perphera|s. Lach node may operate n
reduced functon, whch means transmttng perodc output from a sensor, or fu||
functon, n whch the node acts as both a transmtter and recever.

802.15.4 s a smp|e (28K byte) packet-based rado protoco| amed at very |ow-cost,
battery-operated wdgets and sensors (whose batteres |ast years, not hours) that can
