Summary/Conclusion In America, there are several students who are enrolled in college, or some sort of school where they are receiving an education. However, there are a variety of issues that college students face while receiving an education. As shown throughout this research report paper, there are a large amount of factors that hiders college students and cause them to face depression. I the results that were from the survey that was conducted, I discovered various things that went hand and hand with my hypothesis. One thing that I discovered is that there is a larger percentage of college students who are faced with financial lack than any other issue. Financial lack was the most prominent issue that college students expressed that they face while attending college. Also the survey results coincided with my hypothesis. There was a large percentage of female than male respondents who partook in the survey overall. I discovered that the way a college student spends their spare time is important as well. Depression has ultimately affected college students in a major way. One of the factors that were very common within the results was the fluctuation of the weight of the respondents. Some respondents responses were that they loss or gained weight. A larger percentage of individuals responded that they either loss or gained between 10-20 pounds since being enrolled in college. Weight fluctuations symbolize symptoms of depression. Overall, students are placed under a lot of pressure from both their personal and professional life. While in college, students may tend to have a difficult time expressing their issues to others to receive help, and in contrast, some students think that they are able to handle everything on their own without receiving help.
