MWR Annapolis two outdoor pools, North Severn Pool (on NSA Annapolis) and South Severn Pool (across from Gate 8), will open May 26. Swimming lesson run June 18-28 and July 9-19. Free fitness lap swimming for military and DoD civilians at both pools on weekdays. DoD contractors must have pool membership or pay daily guest fees for lap swimming. Membership passes are on sale at the MWR Recreation Services Bldg. #89. Call 410-293-9200.

Midshipmen build and launch rockets at Hospital Point at the U.S. Naval Academy. In this EA204- Fundamentals of Aerospace Engineering II project, students conceive, design, and build (implement) Estes Model rockets and launch (operate) them with the goal of launching the most massive payload possible to 300ft at minimal cost.
