Having a vast experience in development of residential and commercial real estate projects across multitude of locations in Punjab India, he has the hand on the pulse of the Indian market. He is a visionary who leads from the front. He has restructured the group into sharply focused operating divisions and led a transformation process aimed at enhancing shareholder value.He believes in giving back to the society and is actively involved in the social sector especially in the areas of rehabilitating young school drop-outs.

Col (Dr) S.S. Khera (Retd.), CEO A seasoned Technocrat, an engineering graduate, doctorate in management and Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India), having 22 years of experience in handling engineering projects across the country in multidisciplinary projects encompasses an entire spectrum of assignments. Having handled design, planning and execution of multistory buildings, runways, marine structures, industrial hangers, warehouses and management/operation of utilities in townships, he brings a wealth of technical prowess to Zanders Engineers Limited. He has worked as Chief Engineer (Naval Works) with Military Engineering Service.

Mr. Navdeep, Director He is a successful technocrat and manages his diversified business empire comprising of manufacture and retailing of gold and diamond jewelry and manufacture/marketing of distribution transformers and diesel generating sets. He has been instrumental in bringing in the use of modern management techniques and technology to the group. He brings his rich management experience to Zanders.

Our Advisory Board Brig Ravindra Bhardwaj (Retd.) A Civil Engineer of repute with almost four decades of experience in execution of infrastructure construction projects like roads & highways, airports, dams, bridges, flyovers, etc. He is a postgraduate in structural engineering. He has vast experience in planning, design, execution and quality control with myriad of organizations like Border Roads Organization, Military Engineering Service and Lanco Group. He specializes in environmental control & design, Project management, operation & maintenance, quality control & technical evaluation of civil engineering project and arbitration of engineering contracts. Col Sanjiv Puri (Retd.) A veteran engineer with over 30 years of experience in Planning, Quality Control, and approval of workmanship in the field of construction of major highways and airports. He has worked as GM (Tech) in NHAI and in similar positions in Border Roads Organization and is well versed with international best practices in the Modern Highway construction technology and use of modern construction equipment and techniques. His involvement in the large highway projects with heavy earthworks and working in tough terrains (Kargil Air Field at 9000 ft Height) makes him capable to lead in any environment. Mr. KK Kaul A highly experienced urban planning expert, he is Masters in Geography, Masters in Regional Planning, Advance PG certificate in Town & Country planning. He is a Fellow of Institute of Town Planners and has almost 40 years experience in town planning services that include the planning of roads, transport, drainage systems, water systems, schools, hospitals etc. He held the coveted appointment of Chief Town Planner, Greater Mohali.

Mr. Sunil Bansal A Chartered Accountant by profession is associated with the group as an advisor on financial matters. A thoroughbred professional with an eye for detail, he specializes in the fields of accounting, auditing, taxation, foreign investments and corporate affairs along with a host of other financial services. He has been conducting Statutory & Tax audit, Internal audit of small & medium scale Limited Companies, Carrying out Bank Audits and providing services in the field of accounts, Income Tax & Company Law matters. He has experience of over a decade.

Mr. Ranjan Dhar Starting out with his brothers constructions company, Ranjan has come a long way. With over 20 years of experience in running and operating infrastructure and construction companies, Ranjan also specializes in land bank management, site identification, water works and roadways. His expertise and network allows him access to premium land across the country. He is also well versed in site identification for international as well as domestic hospitality firms. Ranjan is also well connected with Government agencies as he has undertaken various projects for them. Mr Chaitanya Bedi After finishing his Hotel Management from the prestigious Indian Institute of Hotel Management operated by the Taj Group, Chaitanya set-up an extremely successful Hospital catering company. While operating this company he completed his Masters in Business Administration and also diversified into management of guesthouses for various companies. His vast operational experience gave him an edge in understanding the needs of various hospitality firms both national and international and he has successfully negotiated various deals on their behalf. He is also advises some prominent international chains on their expansion in India.

Quality Assurance The Quality Assurance division has the competence to provide services as Independent Quality Assurance (IQA) Consultant in the following fields:

As an IQA consultant, the division can offer the following services to its clients:

Provision of advisory services to the client & its supervisory staff on quality assurance & quality control measures during the execution of the work & assisting clients in technical audit of the work during the execution & on completion. Ensuring that the contractor performs and executes the work in accordance with the specifications & scope of work as per contract agreement with the client and to examine and check that the field and laboratory test as has been performed by the contractor and to verify the same. Conducting field and laboratory tests at site during the execution of the work and comparison of the same with test results as per tests conducted by the contractor.

Devising system for quality assurance and quality control and ensure that it is strictly followed during the execution of work. The number of tests and their frequency shall be strictly adhered as per relevant specifications/guidelines and quality control manuals. Ensuring proper coordination between the client & the contractor so that there is no conflict between the requirement of quality and the speed of the work. Verification of contractors running bills. Prescription of quality control formats for various tests as per ISI Specifications and quality control guidelines and to ensure that the quality control formats for all the tests are regularly maintained for inspection by the supervisory staff of the client.

Zanders has a state of art Material Testing Laboratory for testing of the civil engineering materials. The process for getting accreditation of NABL for the laboratory has already been initiated. Highest standards of ethics and professionalism are maintained in carrying out the testing. The laboratory is housed in 1440 sqft. of floor area. It is headed by a quality control engineer with a vast experience in this material testing and quality control, a pool of experienced technicians assist him. However most of the equipments have computerized operation and instrumentation, thus eliminating the probability

ZANDERS SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

The world today is facing severe shortage of skilled manpower. There is no dearth of talent. The challenge is of getting talent that meets the need of the industrial world. In other words, the challenge is that of employability. India, a relatively smaller economy with much bigger workforce faces a deeper crisis, perhaps far deeper than any other nation in the world so we have to start re-skilling our work force. A degree-driven Indian society treats education as a proxy for skill levels. This creates a strong demand-supply gap. Also, there is an urgent need for upgradation of skills of rural educated youth. To meet this challenge, the need was felt to provide proper skills training as per the needs of the industry and Zanders Skills Development Centre (ZSDC) was born in 2009, with the primary aim of providing World-class skill education in tune with contemporary requirements. The academic activities have been launched after creating a World-class infrastructure at its Mohali Campus.
