SKIN HISTOLOGY

Skin histology and Derivatives (integument) The skin is an organ that serves to protect the material and influence along with Integumennya (ie nails, hair, and several kinds of glands) The skin consists of:

A. Epidermis Epidemic, a specialized epithelium derived from ektodern. The epidermis is a squamous epithelium-lined with a layer of horn, made up of four different cell types, cell keratisonis, melanocyte cells, five cell layer or stratum:

1. Stratum corneum Layer consisting of several layers of cells that are already experiencing signs of keratinization with the core has been lost, in other words, the cell is dead. 2. Stratum Lucidium The thinnest layer and is formed by squamous cells. 3. Stratum granulosum The layer that formed by coboidal epithelial and squamous epithelial and contain many eleidin granules. 4. Stratum spinosum The thickest layer is formed by polyhedral coboid epithelial cells 5. Stratum basal The innermost layer and is formed by the thorax epithelial cell layer is seated on a basement membrane berpapilla, the thorax epithelial is active to mitosis.

Langerhans cell shaped like a star, mainly found in stratum spinosum of the epidermis. Langerhans cells are bone marrow are capable of binding, processing, dam present antigen to T lymphocytes, which play a role in the stimulation of T lymphocytes. Merkel cells form similar to desmosomes of keratinocytes are also usually found in thick leather palms and soles, also located in areas close to blood vessels and matting nerve fibers. Serves as the recipient of sensory stimuli. B. Dermis Dermis, below the epidermis and the inner is usually difficult to set a limit for the premises together subcutaneous tissue (hipordemis). Dermis, composed of two layers of tissue that is composed of irregular bond: a. Papillary layer of the above A thin layer of connective tissue under the epidermis that form corii papilla. The network is composed of cells - cells found in loose connective tissue with collagen fibers smooth. b. Reticular layer below This layer consists of connective tissue containing fibers - a way of collagen fibers crisscrossing rugged but always parallel to the surface. In it than there are cells - the cells are connective tissue cells as well cosist of khromatofor in which grains - grains of pigment. In the dermis there are receptors, blood vessels, lymph vessels, hair follicles and glands. Smooth muscle fibers may be found in the dermis, which is arranged to form a file associated with hair follicles (erector pili muscular) and bertebar throughout the dermis. C. Hipodermis Hypodermicis the lower layers of skin (fascia suberfisialis) is actually not part of the skin but it looks like the expansion of the inner dermis. In the hypodermis found: fat cells, panikulus adiposus, number and size varies according to body regions and according to individual nutritional circumstances.
