RF drive test:

Do the Drive Test using TEMS, analyze drive test log files . Identifying poor coverage and quality patches through drive test and making action plan to resolve the same. Analyzed the Drive test log files using TEMS Investigation. The activities included foot printing of all the sites in order to control the site overshoot, interference elimination, monitoring of RX Quality, two way neighbour relations, locating handover failures, call drops, call blocks, coverage holes.

Analysis Handover Failure, Missing Neighbour using test logs & audit sites.

Optimization : Optimization of the network to minimize the call drops and RF interference in the network, to increase the indoor & outdoor coverage & better speech quality. Steps taken: Swapping analysis , Adjusting orientation & tilt of the GSM antenna & Height adjustment of GSM antenna. Analysis of TA report. Analysis of TEMS log files using MapInfo professional. Additional cell site if required. Carrying out optimization and Radio Frequency (RF) acceptance testing as well as sector planning of new sites of rural areas.

Technical Skills:

Optimization using TEMS Investigation & GENEX PROBE Tools Used : TEMS 8.0.3 , TEMS 8.2.3 , TEMS 9.1.3 , TEMS 10.0.1 ,10.0.3 , 10.0.5, 11.05,12.05 GENEX PROBE , MapInfo ( 8.5 etc.) , MCOM Site carrier .
