1.1 Purpose This SRS will provide an in detail view of all the features and specifications t hat are to be included in the website of hit toys for life. 1.2 Document Conventions Font style used for the document is times new roman and font size is 16 for head ing & headings are underlined, size 14 for sub headings and 12 for details. this document is made for emphasis and understanding it also strives to give a bett er know how about the company and the website itself. 1.3 Intended Audience The expected readers of this document will be the Developer Project managers Marketing staff Testers Technical writers 1.4 Project Scope This SRS is intended to define the requirements for making a static website for h it toys for life its major goals is to advertise and give the users the informati on about the products and offers of the company & taking marketing towards a dig ital level. This website is intended to bring 30 % increase in the attraction & awareness about the company and an improved status of company in the eyes of its customers. 1.5 References The SRS is written while following and keeping in view the IEEE standards and CM MI staged model in order to make no compromises in quality of the product. 2 Overall Description 2.1 Product Perspective The product to be specified in this SRS is a static website for the company hit t oys for life which will provide information about the products offered by the com pany their prices and an email link for to placing orders. This feature will be considered as a marketing strategy in order to attract customers. Visit places User 2.2 Product Features The product will provide the users with the products the company offers along wi th its details the top products of the company & the brands that are offered by the company. It also provides a mean to place orders. 2.3 User Classes and Characteristics Users: All the users who have access to internet can access this website and may know a bout the company or place orders IT manager: They will interact with website in case of managing, updating etc in the website . They also account for the proper functioning of the website. Server managers: They manage the server on which the website is present and check for errors and malfunction of website 2.4 Operating Environment views

The website will run on any personal computer having internet connection and abi lity to display Webpages and sending http request. The browser should have embed ded flash player and ability to play java scripts. 2.5 Design and Implementation Constraint If the internet connection is less than 10 kbps then displaying of pages may tak e longer and graphics might have problem. Latest version of web browser is also required. 3 System Features Website will be placed on the server of marketing department. Whenever user will access the website he will be presented with a list of categories of products a vailable he can select from there his preferred category and then select the pro duct available in that category the user will have to send an email on the addre ss given on the website or just have to click the mailing link in order to buy a product. 3.1 Header State 1 State 2 Description and Priority: The name of the company would be displayed in the head er it would set an impression about the company so it must have a high priority. It would be present on the top of all the pages and will have animation and dis play the above states or more interchangeably. Stimulus/Response Sequences: User must feel amused by looking at the header & it must present a good image of what the company is offering Functional Requirements: REQ 1. Header must have animations REQ 2. It must include name logo & tag line of the company in a presentable mann er 3.2 Menu

Description and Priority: It would be used to surf among the different pages of the website and it will be available just below the header in all pages of the w ebsite since it would also be an integral part of the website so its priority is also set high. Stimulus/Response Sequences: The buttons decreases in size when mouse is placed above them. If home button is clicked it takes to the home page of the website, when mouse is placed over our products it will open a drop down menu giving ca tegories of products on basis of age when any of those are clicked it opens pag es displaying products of the respective category, our brands when clicked shows the brand logos of the brands company offers, when mouse is placed over whats ne w it shows a drop down with categories of new toys when those option are clicked a new window opens showing latest products in that category, top rated also sho ws a drop down with categories and when those categories are clicked a new windo w open showing the top 3 products of that month that are decided on the basis of the product having most sales in that month, shop when click takes the user to the shop page of the company where orders can be placed targets of each link ar e set to be blank (requested page will be opened in a new window).

Functional Requirements: REQ 3. There will be six buttons in menu REQ 4. Three buttons Home, Our Brands & Shop will be linked to their respective page REQ 5. Three buttons Our Products, Whats New & Top Rated will have dropdowns REQ 6. The items in drop downs will be linked to respective page REQ 7. Description and Priority: It would be used to display the categories of toys tha t are available for boys it will be present under the menu on the left side as i t would be used to attract the user to see the product its priority is medium. Stimulus/Response Sequences: There will be an image of a boys toy on the top it w ill have animation and the image will change periodically. There would be name o f toys under the image and they will be linked to their respective category page if user will click any of the names a new page with related products will appea r.
