LESSON PLAN

Class Focus Theme Topic Time Vocabulary : Year 2 : Listening & Speaking, Reading : World Of Self, Family and Friends : People around Me : 30 Minutes : sweeping , feeding, watering, collecting, leaves, plants ,newspaper.

Content Standards: By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to : 1. 3 2. 2 understand and respond to oral texts in a variety of contexts. demonstrate understanding of a variety of linear and non-linear texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of strategies to construct meaning.

Learning Standards: 1.3.1a) Able to listen to and demonstrate understanding of oral texts by answering simple Wh-Questions. 2.2.3 Able to read and understand simple sentences in linear and non-linear texts with guidance.

Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: 1. Answer the questions about the picture shown. 2. Read the sentences shown to them. Teaching Resources : A broom, pictures, sentence strips, slide show. Moral Values : Cooperation, helpful.
