ISO 15383:2001 : PROTECTIVE GLOVES FOR FIREFIGHTERS

ISO 15383:2001 ISO international Standard concerning protective gloves for firefighters, which defines 3 Types: Type 1: minimal requirements in the fight against fire, such as wild land. Type 2: Type 1 gloves with enhanced mechanical and thermal protection. Type 3: Type 2 gloves with enhanced mechanical and thermal protection + protection against liquid penetration.

NIT 306:2005
The NIT 306:2005 is a Technical Information Note, issued by the French Ministry of the Interior / Direction of the Civil Defense and Security. The NIT 306 mentions the specific requirements for the protective gloves of French firefighters. There are two Types of NIT306: A Type: gloves have to meet at least the Type 1 performances levels of the ISO 15383:2001 standard. B Type: gloves have to meet at least the levels of the EN 659:2003, and also meet the levels 3-3-3-3 according to the EN 388.

NIT 306:2005
La NIT 306 est une Note dInformation Technique mise par le Ministre Franais de lIntrieur / Direction de la Dfense et Scurit Civiles. La NIT 306 dfinit des exigences spcifiques aux gants des sapeurs-pompiers franais. Il y a deux types de NIT306:2005 : La Type A : les gants doivent satisfaire aux performances minimum du type 1 de la norme ISO 15383:2001. La Type B : les gants doivent satisfaire aux performances minimum de la norme EN 659:2003 et en plus satisfaire aux exigences 3-3-3-3 selon la norme EN 388.

MTHODE : Selon le cycle 60 III de la norme NF G 07.139 - sept - 1989. MACHINE : Laveuse essoreuse GIRBAU 20 kg. CHARGE : Complment 13 kg de polyester/coton. LESSIVE : 7,5 g/kg de linge sec au prlavage et au lavage. CYCLE : Prlavage : 8 min 40C. Lavage : 15 min 60C. Rinage : 3 fois 5 min.
Acidification au 2me rinage raison de 3 cc/kg dacide Actique 36% par kg de linge sec. Essorage final : 4 minutes.

Industrial Cleaning Instructions

METHOD: Industrial cleaning at 60 (cycle 60 III of the standard: NF G 07.139 - Sept - 1989) MACHINE: GIRBAU spinner washer (20 kg). LOAD: 13 kg of polyester/cotton. WASH: 7.5 g/kg of dry fabrics Using the pre-wash and main wash cycles. CYCLE: Pre wash: 8 minutes at 40C. Wash: 15 minutes at 60C. Rinse: 3 X 5 minutes.
Sour during the 2nd rinse using 3cc/kg of acetic acid at 36% per kilogram of fabrics. Final rinse: 4 minutes.

Refroidissement 5 min.
Ltape de nettoyage peut tre multiplie compte tenu de la charge en huile et graisse du produit. Ltape de rinage dans ce cas est reconduite aprs chaque nettoyage.

Dry cleaning instructions

METHOD: According to the standard: NF EN ISO 3175.2 - 1998. MACHINE: UNION 12 kg. LOAD: 12 kg de polyester/cotton. SOLUTION: Tetrachloroethylene combined with surface active agent + 2% water. CYCLE : Soak: 15 min avec circulation de solvant Temprature du solvant 30C. Empty - Spin Rinse: 5 minutes in neat solvents. ViEmpty - Spin Dry: at a regulated 80C. Cool cycle 5 minutes.
The wash cycle may be repeated according to the amount of oil and grease on the fabric. The rinse cycle must then be repeated after each wash cycle.

Recycling

Upon your request, ROSTAING may offer a used-glove retrieval service once a year; this applies to product references falling under the scope of a contract. These items must be returned to us, preferably packaged in a cardboard box or, failing that, in a bag. They will be collected by our service provider for suitable treatment (elimination in storage facilities/ incineration or special processing in case of very soiled items). A financial cost shall be assigned to this operation.

Recyclage

La Socit ROSTAING peut, sur votre demande, tudier ce service de rcupration une fois par an des paires de gants usags ; rfrences entrant dans le cadre dun march. Ces effets devront nous tre retourns dans un emballage carton de prfrence ou en sac si cela nest pas possible. Ils seront ainsi collects par notre prestataire pour un traitement adapt (limination en installation de stockage/incinration ou traitement spcifique en cas de souillures importantes). Un cot financier sera affect cette opration.

SECHAGE : En schoir rotatif pendant 20 min 60C, suivi dun Refroidissement pendant 5 min.
La temprature de schage ne doit pas excder 60C afin de ne pas altrer les caractristiques matires.

DRY:

LEATHER The full-grain leather we use is both strong and supple. Our split leather offers excellent abrasion and tear resistance. Leather, which is naturally breathable, offers a high level of comfort and excellent dexterity. Special treatments impart additional properties: Water-repellent: the leather becomes resistant to water, and washable, and it stays soft after drying. Oil repellent: the leather becomes resistant to oil. Heat resistance: the leather becomes undeformable to 250C. CUIR Utilis en pleine fleur, il est rsistant et souple. Utilis en crote, il offre une bonne rsistance labrasion et la dchirure. Le cuir naturellement respirant offre un bon confort et une bonne dextrit.
